Calling Game 2 a must-win is a bit pre-mature?
It's a 7 game series.

Saw the highlight for game 1. What a game!
must be a high for Dodger fan to be part of that win
Not really a baseball fan but Definitely going to watch more. This is playoff baseball at it’s best !

Both teams are even matched all around. This series will go 6 or 7 games. Nothing less. My bet it will go the distance 7 games. if I was a betting man, my money is on LA.

did some research...11 teams have come back from 0-2 WS starts, incl. NY 4 times.
As Yogi said, "it ain't over til it's over"

Looking forward to Game 2

I usually only watch MLB in the World Series and ooo eee that was some game. The defense of both teams is truly outstanding and frankly if that fan hadn't interfered I believe the outcome would have been different. All that aside, what a finish!
This is a series for the ages folks!

No, it wouldn't have changed the outcome because It wouldn't have been a home run to start. The ball was caught ahead of top wall which would have bounced off the wall which would have resulted in double either way. It was clearly seen ( glove was in front of the wall ) and no one opposed the call. Today, even sports cast analysts were also agreeing that it was not a home run. It was the right call.

Pause it @ 1.04 mark and it's clearly obvious the call was right.

Right O
Corrector of things written!!
Of course the main issue was that this was a game for the ages. But yes I humbly submit to having been WRONG.

I'm an avid baseball fan well over 2 decades ( Blue jays, Mariners and The Dodgers -- in that order ). A Regular season viewer. It bothers me when fan intervention occurs. In this case no, but, quite a few times I've seen situations when the outcome may have made a difference in a game when fans interferes. But you're right....it can be a game changer.

Thank you MOD for reacting to my reported comment. (y)(y)

There are reports that TEOSCAR may very well return to our beloved Blue-jays team. They never should have traded him. The blue-jays are need a major overhaul. Half ass pitching and a very weak Bull pen. 2 areas that need major improvements in this off season. I was hoping to see Atkins gone (n)(n)(n)

Yes I am watching. Still rootin for the Blue Jays but they were not there.... I guess I will put my money on the Dodgers.

I thought the Yankees looked tired in today's game. LA seemed to have a snap to their game and again great defense.
Lets see as it goes back to NYC.

Past decade the Yankees were consistent contenders, and at the same time, also in the collapsing dept in that time frame lol.

They'll be down 3 nothing after tonight and its looking bleak, but, it's not over until it's over.
My $$$ was on the dodgers as I called earlier in this thread.

What a shit game, Yankees are frauds.

yes you said it would "go 6 or 7 games.Nothing less" You might still be right, if the Yankees can rally but it's looking bleak in the Big Apple.

The Dodgers spent 1.21B$ in signings this past year (Forbes).

They're looking like that is paying off!!

Yes, I did call for it to go the distance. It's looking like I might be wrong with that call. I don't think anyone would have thought new York would lose 3 straight. I really thought NY had gm 3 in the bag being down 2 - 0 and at home. Now, a very steep hill to climb. Strange things have happened but I can't see NY coming back 4 straight. LA is far to deep with talent.

Main issue for NY? Judge is nowhere to be found at the plate, and NY went with their Prime starter in GM 1 -- Cole, the game they needed to win which they didn't.

backs to the wall for the Bronx Bombers, wonder if Judge breaks out of his slump tonight/

Ohtani hasn't been the force but has been getting on base thru walks, then scoring when someone gets a hit. He,too, is due for fireworks.
Dodgers going with a bullpen start...how the game has changed!

Enjoy!

Yankees refused the casket to shut in Game 4, managed to get hands and wrists out.
If they win tonight, they'll get it half-open, with legs getting out.
Also, a win tonight would get Mentum back in the lineup, you know who I mean, that guy named Mo.

On the other hand I keep waiting for Ohtani.....he's hitting .133 thru 4 games, too good to continue like that.
I think Judge's stats are similar?

If LA ends it tonight it'll be like NY Eve ,Mardi gras and Carnival in Japan Thursday am,with the time difference.
pass the popcorn!
