I am intrigued as they have unlimited phone and text through out Canada & the US, and 30GB data at $29/month.

I have a Public Mobile (owned by Telus) plan. 50GB 5G data, unlimited talk/text and no roaming charges in the US for $34/month. Works fine. There's no reason to spend more for the same service.
