Here are some transferable skills and skills you need to be a provider/companion. You absolutely cannot say this is not a job and that SWers do not have job skills when we do many jobs in onename some

It also is very surprising how many men are surprised to hear that many of us have had careers in other professions and/or have college or university education. I was an exotic dancer to put myself through college where I was an educator for quite a while (was teaching in the day and stripping at night when I first began to teach), and went back to college when I moved to BC where I graduated from BCIT’s web design program and worked in IT as a web developer then as an office administrator. I have also done many jobs on the side or between, where I also right now model professionally, am a professional makeup and fx artist, am an artist and do some graphic design too.
Also to note I have known and know of people in the industry who put their money away, invest it, and retire early. Many also go to college or university while doing this or save up money to start their own businesses. Some do this part time, some do this full time. Some will will do this for a short time, some more long time. But yes, you do need and will acquire many skills to be in this industry.
