WFT Alberta PERB

It’s pretty obvious that the Alberta market doesn't use PERB for some reason, and It’s kind of annoying not being able to use PERB when I’m looking for info on an Alberta SP or planning a trip.

The Baby Cow site seems dated, and isn’t nearly as polished as the ERB’s. Has it been around for longer, and PERB just never caught on, or did something happen to drive Alberta escort advertising and reviews away from PERB at some point?

It feels like there was the “great pooner schism of ’08 that split brother against brother”, or something like that. (You’d expect that kind of thing from them . Just kidding boys)

Whatever the reason it was way before my time. Any veterans know what happened or how the current state of affairs evolved?

If memory serves me correct there is CAF, which was originally under a different name. It seems Albertans are there a lot? I remember joining there first before discovering PERB. Then i got banned cause I gave a bad review on an escort who tried to doxx me and gave out personal info of the wrong guy, thinking it was me. Being in my late 20s at the time I didn't take too kindly to that and so I posted her incall address, which turned out to be her personal residence also. It also turns out the landlord was a pooner on the site (in hindsight I'm wondering if it might have been a pimp). Total shit show, but I regret letting myself stoop to the level of an addict with poor hygiene. What's sad is she posts time to time on LL and has gone through different name changes, though only seems to offer outcall. Not sure if you mean the predecessor of CAF. I joined that page end of 2009 before being banned shortly after and joining perb in 2010.

So what’s the attraction for the guys that use it? I get that it’s where the ladies advertise, so eyeballs are going to be drawn to the site. But if you’re looking for an honest appraisal and / or to help your fellow pooners it seems like a better idea to use PERB where you can be honest and expect the same in return. It’s not an either / or situation, guys are free to use both boards.

I'm guessing it can be that the pooners there are simps, where the admin are possibly getting serviced for free in exchange to remove negative reviews, and I'm sure the SPs who are reputable and on there are probably able to convince people who see them that this the place to be. There is a lot of back end stuff among sex workers, including a united front where many would rather a crooked sex worker get away with being crooked and allowing clients to keep booking the problematic sex worker, because they may believe that it can undermine the overall objective of sex work being decriminalized down the road. It's why someone like Jessica Kane left undected. It's why someone like Elnaz/Persiannbaddie is always running scams, drugging, and has even recruited people to do this with her. Years ago I got an infraction for sharing a news article on Vegas sex workers running scams and getting in trouble with law when Elnaz was fairly new here, for posting personal info. Thankfully Perb gets it now, but CAF is the type of place which will allow someone like Elnaz and Jessica Kane to advertise.

It's pretty evident that the mods there are getting freebies. Look there are board members im sure who get freebies. Not going to pretend here but I've been offered discounts on here and while it was tempting either my availability or other commitments kept me from seeing the worker or I didn't feel right about it. If an SP offered me a discount to write her a good review I wouldn't feel right doing it. I took one SP once on her offer when she messaged me through here years ago, and when I went to the session she was honest to do the services with me that she would do wktn other clients. She was super against bbbj, gfe, daty, or dfk. Said she just wanted someone to write a few nice things that she's skilled in what she does despite those restrictions. I couldn't go through with it, half way through our session I paid her the difference of what she discounted me and gave her another $20 as my way to say no hard feelings but the whole thing felt forced for me, and left.

There's a long history and we generally don't allow other boards to be discussed, taking the high road as MB Mod indicates. Suffice to say, the AB sections here were very active in years past and we hope they pick up steam again. The comments about the quality, reliability and admin of the board there are all something pooners should take into account. The only way that our AB forums will thrive is if the members here make it a point to post.
