Watching the Avs and Jets game- 22 goals against in less than four games on the best defensive team in the league. Avs are dynamic offensively.

As far as the Canucks-nobody cares how you win, only whether you win...especially in the playoffs. But I do agree that they are probably not good enough to go past the second round.

The Canucks also had 30 shots blocked in game 3, so it wasn't purely a defensive game. I found it quite entertaining, but I don't expect the team to make it past the second round, even if they manage to make past the first round. The team is too fragile.

Yes, lots of blocked shots by both teams. That’s playoff hockey at its finest. The difference in game three was the power play. Nucks 2-3 Preds 0-5. If they get past the Preds it looks like they will play the Oilers. Might be the last hope for a Canadian team winning the Cup this year. Win, or lose nice to be in the playoffs.

I can't remember..who scored the OT goal today ?
If Kuzmenko was playing he would’ve scored in regulation, there would be no overtime. Its one game! We gave up a first rounder a 39 goal scorer and a 3rd round pick and 2 very good prospects. We gave up way too much for a guy who didnt have too much trade value as his contract was expiring. Still a brutal trade. The first rounder might play 1000 games, 2 prospects might play 1000 games combined and kuzmenko might score 250 goals in his career and a third round pick may play. And u traded all that for Lindholm?? A guy who might play 40 games for canucks?

Pulled a rabbit out of their hat in that game. Interested to see if the Preds can overcome such a tough loss.

That's a pretty bold claim considering Kuzzy had a lack luster season with the canucks and either A) couldn't get with Tocchets structure or B) didn't want to.

Wasn't scoring, couldn't back check, brought zero value to face offs but could pull off an occasional flashy goal/pass. He came back from the off season out of condition, and couldn't catch up.

To me, it sounds like you've got a jersey collecting dust in your closet with a 96 on the back 😆

Ok then maybe the canucks should give lindholm a 8 year 100 million dollar contract. You would be happy with that? Lindholm is a 3rd liner. He scored 1 big goal thats it. Kuzmenko is not a centre and doesn’t take faceoffs. Maybe you wanna give Lindholm is NHL Hart trophy? U ok with thats?

You're using facts and logic.
Might cause some confusion.

Let me see… kuzmenko had 46 points in 72 games
Lindholm 44 points in 76 games
If kuzmenko had a terrible season how did he get more points than Lindholm????
Lindholm has played like trash. He got 1 goal and everyone is going gaga over him.

This wasnt a lindholm and kuzmenko trade. Dont forget we gave up a really good prospect and a first round pic and another draft pic and another prospect.

Kuzmenko seems like a nice kid, friendly and laughing during interviews......he has potential and I hope he has a 50 goal season next yr in Calgary.
However, it just wasn't happening for him here...i.e. 8 goals in 43 games.

As I said in an earlier post...sometimes a guy just needs a change of scenery to kickstart a career.

As for who "wins" a trade....depends on when it is judged....immediately, in a yr, in 2 yrs, etc.

The really good prospect was on record for saying he wasn't going to sign in Vancouver . Van is all in this year because they know they can't keep the band together because of cap constraints. Teams were trying to pry Willander from the nucks but they weren't budging on their top 2 prospects

Kuzmenko has 120 points in 153 games not too bad for a guy that everyone wants to run out of town.
