Not going to delve into personal opinion on that subject since discussing screening options can be against the rules so I'll leave it to you to decide whether the SP is worth or not

Yep, majority of ladies asking for a deposit are scammers. I'd avoid at all costs unless their extremely reputable. Even then, it'd be wise to consider that even the best / most reviewed escorts have their days where they decide to bail , flake or disappear for a short amount of time.

I’d say Google is your friend on this one.
If they tell you they will accept the gift cards in person, you can expect a text when you arrive at the spot, telling you that they need the numbers on the back before they tell you the room number. They figure because you are already there, you will say fuck it and give them the info. Sometimes, they can even give you a room number, but tell you they won't answer the door until they get the numbers. Then you knock on the door and find a traveling salesman from Kelowna who is not amused. Because they are in Ontario, Alberta or somewhere else.
Other than a deposit with some providers, no reputable provider wants to be paid with a gift card, cash is king.

If they are asking full payment beforehand, that's sketchy as hell and you'd be a fool to do so. A deposit? Who knows? It can go either way regardless of payment type.
Search the forum for accounts from those who have been scammed to give you an idea of how it might happen. It can take many forms.
Stick to providers that have been reviewed to stay on the safer side, that's the point of the forum.
Outside of that you are on your own. Why risk it if it seems sketchy or too good to be true? Think with your brain and not your balls. The latter will lead you astray soon enough.
However, if you still don't heed the warnings, go ahead, it's your decision, but be willing to forfeit that money and don't blame anyone but yourself afterwards. And don't forget to tell your tale!

I was replying to the other comment. I was given an address to go to. Once I was there, I was asked to send the gift card number so she would answer the door.
Like a moron I did. Then got another text saying that it was already cashed in and sent a picture of the message, and if I didn't have another card with me and send that one. I was already there and thinking with my balls and didn't occur to me that they had entered the number twice to cash it and then get that error message.
So I did send a second one. 😅
Again they said it was cashed out already and to send another one. It took me until If that point to realise I had been scammed, lol.
But I never saw anyone.
This lead me to discover review boards. Live and learn 👍
Yeah even if you are a resonable and logic person, you lose your mind when you are really close to getting things you want. It happend to me. ( not the way you got scammed)
