LL Ads? Is there so actually so many people or just bots?

So i been looking at ads on leolist for a while and can't but see some ads being posted about 1 hour ago and have like 500 views!

Now factor in the area as well,

is there actually so many people around the city that's are viewing at the ads? or just is it somehow bots?

Don’t know forsure, but I’m thinking views must carry over from previous adds they have posted since they have to keep updating in order to stay visible.

thats what im thinking as well, cause no way i think theres that many people looking

Yeah when ad is renewed, it carries over dumb stat anyways. Has no bearing on anything

A lot of bots and sometimes people posting ads from a different city.

There are a lot of honest and real people on there too.

The view stats, I think, are complete garbage. I would keep a large shaker of salt around when looking at all Leolist ads. During the day, as many as 40-50% may be legit. After 9 or 10pm, that number is more like 10%, the scammers rule the listings at those hours. Even verified listings are often faked, and as noted some scammers have taken to posting in multiple cities. Another interesting one is that they almost never update their "directory". There are several ladies still listed there who have left the business, even a few who have passed away, but their directory listing and photos stay up, a morbid remembrance for some.
