As a Canadian, it's useful to take a step back from the fervour, and just see it for what it is. Seems more of a sales pitch than an analysis - obviously ex- US Navy guy trying to push Americans with money & influence back towards investing in (oceanic) infrastructure / domestically-owned sealift capability, instead of gnawing their fingernails off about Silicon Valley Bank. Okay, point made - the rest is embellishment.
The VC's need to kick SNAFU's like SVB off their ETFs, and instead of chasing ESG, heed PACOM's FYI about the PRC no longer being a littoral PTFB, but rather treat it like a blue water BFG, and enhance their own LTHMA, ASAP!
