How do you organize your sex worker contacts in your phone?

So not to hijack the thread on your SO going through your phone, I thought I'd start this up and ask how all of you organize your sex worker contacts in your phone? I have no SO but dating happens so I've got the keepers in my contact lists but under aliases that I can remember easily (ie, and I'm making these names up, but if I ever manage to connect with Classy Angel, she would become "Angel Klassman" or something like that). I don't do a very good job sanitizing my SMS messages though.

If you ever travel to the US, you should sanitize your phone. They can and do search them and many SWs have had issues at the border as a result. Clients maybe not so much, but everything goes into their database.

My pooner phone is the only one I keep them in, but even then they are coded. Same kind of thing as you use but always a male name. I also add some random business that I could possibly have used sometime in the past like car dealer, auto body place or something associated to your legitimate work.

Even American cops can demand to see your phone. They have devices that copy everything on it, contacts, calls, deleted stuff.
Be careful.

Some years back, a provider out east was busted at the border and her phone turned into a spiderweb of clients and other providers getting hassled or busted at the border. Bans of up to 5 years barring entry into the US were given and some just told to never try to come back.

A friend of mine was once hassled at US customs for having the Proton Mail APP on his phone. He wasn't doing anything wrong, and not a pooner (that I know of anyway LOL) he just liked the end to end encryption.

Just having the APP on his phone singled him out for extra attention from the paranoid/puritanical buggers!!

I didn't mention that but yeah, I add the company name is and the company is one I've dealt with in the past

He'd been singled out before they checked the phone.....They don't ask for your phone unless you've already been called in for "inspection".

This was about 4 or 5 years ago in an airport trans border customs. The guy asked him to turn on the phone, I’ve been asked the same thing a few times, and he had a quick look. The moment he saw the Proton app he ask by buddy what it was on the phone and they were off to the races. No strip search or anything just about 10 min of questioning with his co-workers looking at him wondering WTF was going on.

To the OP about how I keep my SP's contacts:
I am not in a LTR and am not all that concerned about someone trying to get through my phone, but as a matter of course I keep my SP contacts hidden. I use a Notes app, any will do and keep various notes like furnace filter sizes, fav stores for whatever, some comments about several businesses etc, plus a note related to a certain tech, with about 7 lines of real info, then I added about 100 blank lines then my SP's, with initials maybe something that I definitely remember and no not big tits, or hotter than fuck, and a number or two. Even a pretty intense look would most likely not find that but if they did, well, I'd pull something out of my ass as a story.

Re US seizing phones etc, well I travel regularly to the states ever since cell phones started and I have yet to be asked about my phone or even my computer. But I hear about the fascism that some of the border agents can bring (not just the US side either) and feel badly for the brothers that get hassled. Hope I do not ...

Okay, so I appear to woefully ignorant of laws around seizure and search of phones, but I was under the (apparently false) assumption that cops/border guards could not randomly search your phone. Can anyone explain the rules in the US versus Canada?

Use a flipfone with no data in the USA. Smart phones aren't that make humans stupid.

To my knowledge both country's customs officials have extremely broad powers. If you are asking for permission to enter the country, which yo essentially are at customs, the usual rules that surround unreasonable search and seizure are thrown right out the window. They can claim to have a "suspicion" about you from nothing but a gut feeling and search anything they want including your phone, computer etc.... If you refuse to open the device then your only option may be revoke your request to enter the country, turn around and go back.

I use a textnow and leave all of the conversations in place. Whenever I am in a situation where that info could be of interest to someone I delete the app. When I restore the app all of the data and conversations are restored.
Some SP's don't respond or like us using textnow and I don't care if they reply or not.

Textnow is what I use as well. If there is someone who I would like to see & doesn't respond back, oh well, move on and find someone else. Might take some time but, there are ladies who will respond, so, they get my attention.

Does anybody use one of those hidden locker apps? They look like camera, utilities, calculators, etc. put in a secret code and you get secret photo albums. contacts, notes, private browser, etc. Maybe the border guards look for these too, but harder for an SO to find.

One guy I know sets up all his pooning contacts starting with SCAM followed by their initials. He also adds contacts for any scam texts or calls he gets similarly except adding caller location instead of initials. So someone looking at the contacts just see’s a mish-mash of scam numbers. That way, he says, if a call or text comes in from one of these numbers, he knows it’s a scam (unless it has initials).

Nice!!! And all in one place among the contacts. Brilliant.

I’ve been curious about locker apps as well. Any information will be welcome.

Taking contact lists and emails sounds like a violation of privacy and civil rights, without just cause. I wouldn’t think the average Joe Pooner would need to worry about this.

If US customs think she’s entering the US to engage in sex work they have all the cause they need to violate her privacy and do whatever they want with her contacts. The question is whether Canadian authorities would get the information from their American cousins and have the time or desire to use it.

The real risk for the pooner is having his name and phone associated with this girl and then trying to enter the US himself. The amount of data they collect is increasing by the day and who knows how it might be used.

Burner phones gentlemen. Even if you’re single and aren’t trying to hide anything on the home front, the wrong information in the hands of puritans who think sex work is the work of the devil can bite you in the ass.
