I will be visiting Vancouver for the first time this upcoming weekend and was wondering what a provider might charge to be a tour guide for the day plus a little fun before and after the tour? Of course all expenses will be paid by me. Has anyone had any experience doing something like this and what have they paid? Also if your a provider and would be interested in doing something like this reach directly. Most of the time will just be social obviously.

thanks I’m advance

Honestly a lot of us don’t find social time less taxing than intimate time. This really depends on your interests. I’d probably charge in the realm of 3600 for the day, around 300/h 😘

Depending on what your interests are, there's a lot of things around the city that can be enjoyed solo (and arguably, might be more enjoyable solo)

Try going by yourself or meeting a non professional. Paying someone $300/hr to pretend to be interested or having a good time is pretty pointless.

The reason I charge so much is cuz I actually am interested and will have a genuinely good time. People want authenticity and that’s what I provide.

Don't assume that we are pretending to enjoy someone's company. Treating us with genuine courtesy and respect can make a difference. Some of us actually do enjoy what we do and getting to know a person.

I won't disagree with you. I have enjoyed social time with several providers over the years. Dinners, movies and even a Vespa scooter adventure. These situations only became possible after repeated connections where we got to know each other properly and a level of trust was achieved. A one time visit in a strange city with someone who is basically a stranger is unlikely to be an amazing experience.
It's possible, but unlikely.

Unlikely? It’s probable with me. I would say I have trouble connecting with around 1% of clients that I see. Now whether or not I choose to see them…

I understand the ladies who charge for this service. If they can get 3 or 4 grand to spend the day with a stranger, more power to them. I don't understand the guy who would pay that. Especially with someone they have not met, don't know the compatibility etc.
I want to chime in with an observed opinion. Society has made being alone in a social environments something to be frowned down upon. Potentially ridiculed.
"Look at that poor sop eating by himself." I think there was an episode of Fraser mocking this.
I have female friends who refuse to go to a movie alone. I have guy friends who won't go to a hockey game by themselves. Even drinking alone at a bar can be considered an ominous sign.
The mobile phone has been a god send for a person like me who regularly dines alone, and needs to occupy the time between ordering and eating.

That thought aside it is a new city he's traveling to, and a guide would be nice. Though there are cheaper more specialized options. A quick google search for "private Vancouver tour" will net you a lot of options. Specialized individuals with entertaining knowledge about this town, and a plan on how to explore it.

https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/listed Rough immediately interesting things happening: You'll not get into the exclusive pretty people orgy but there are things that are happening.
https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/dished Won't get you reservation to Tojo (fucking over-rated) but hey you might see something you want to try.

My suggestion would be to book two ladies, hourly. One in the morning and one in the evening.
Make a reservation to at least one restaurant.
Book a private tour for the city. Then just wander the town for a bit. Plenty of coffee shops and spread across this town for breaks and people watch.
Uber is readily available (I do not endorse taxis in Vancouver) to take you where ever, including back to your hotel.
Just take your time to absorb it all on your own terms.

You could get bumble/tinder and find a dates there. Ive seen profiles of ppl saying theyre visiting a city for a few days and want to find people.

And if no sexy time comes from that, book some ladies.

Have fun, it's cold this week. Gonna snow on Sat.

I just don’t work for free. If I want to go to a show, or a fancy restaurant, or a spa, I go myself. I save up and enjoy it. The reason why you want someone to go with you is because it’s more fun to have a beautiful, engaging, and appreciative woman doting on you. That’s just not something I’m willing to do without financial compensation! Do I enjoy dates like this? ABSOLUTELY. I adore my job (I’m lucky like that). But you’re paying for a luxury experience. If you’d rather go alone, just do that. But something tells me you wouldn’t.

I have made exceptions! I travelled to Machu Picchu with a client. He paid for flights, all expenses, the 5-day hike excursion including tour guides and chefs, and covered the financial loss from taking time off work ($5k). That was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I’ll never regret it. Something like that I’m thrilled to do. But just a nice dinner is something I can cover myself, even with a friend, if I want to fully enjoy myself as ME, not Charlee.

I've taken regulars out for dinner without additional payment before or after sessions in the past, even did a week in a tropical resort with a previous ATF and paid for a 1 hour session equivalent each day plus all expenses. She only saw 1 client per day anyway, so it was really a win-win, or so we thought at the time! This was all pre-COVID and it seems to me that the business has gotten a lot more focused on the dollar instead of the relationship part of the equation than in the past.
Amen to this. I've taken quite a few regulars out to dinner before or after fun time and aside from paying for dinner, that's it. Would never pay for social time, seems too forced.

I honestly kinda don’t believe this. First, that it happened; and second, that you have so little respect for a pro’s time, you’d think that paying for it would “seem too forced”. Yikes.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the episode of Seinfeld yet where George pretends to be an out-of-towner to date the tour guide, haha.

Anyway, good luck with your search, OP.
