Positive vs Negative reviews

Just my observation from a few recent reviews I've read:
Positive review - couple responses, usually "Thanks" or "Yeah, saw her too, totally agree".

Negative review - DOZEN+ responses, majority just slagging the SW (majority from people who have never seen her).

So, I can see why there might be a greater number of negative reviews - just like Amazon or other forums, people are more prone to come online to report a negative experience than they are a positive experience. What I don't get is why people have to pile onto negative reviews so much more than positive ones (just from a quick skim of YYJ & YVR, look at # responses for reviews).

And we wonder why SW's hate these boards... (but go on, call me a "white knight")

Id argue its the opposite. since if you post a negative review of a girl on here they sometimes text or message you threatening you, or ask to take the review down, its a headache.
also alot of the time its the SP's themselves coming in and start arguing, throwing out insults, trying to get the thread locked or taken down.
Ive found most guys on here just warn you about SP's in the dms now.

I have provided feedback on providers in DMs to other perb members who post a 411 on SP. I just do not have it in me to leave a negative review unless its a rip off or dangerous situation. You can get blacklisted providing a honest review.

I have noticed lately quite a few 411 unanswered from popular agencies. Not a peep, when that happens I am pretty much assured guys are just DM each other and the review is not good.

Thats why you wait a bit and omit identifying details. I like to keep it as objective as I can since the whole point of any review is a presentation of the facts. To date, I have never been threatened by anyone lol.

If someone who has not seen her is piling on, flag the post, it will be deleted. Only those who have interacted with her are allowed to chime in. This doesn't apply to a thank you for the review type reply. This deletion is especially true of the "she charges too much anyway" or anything like that.

Curious about this on people being allowed to chime in or not. Once the review is written, how does any PERB member know if any other PERB member has seen the lady or not? #1) We, here, all have anonymous names and we don't know each other outside of PERB. #2) People can book thru burner phones, phone apps & email which creates another avenue of privacy. #3) If I wrote a review, I wouldn't know if any other PERB member, in reality, saw her. If a Perb member(s) visit a lady, I'm quite sure there are some won't even provide their Perb handle name to her. I'm curious as to how one would go about this?

What I don't get is why people have to pile onto negative reviews so much more than positive ones
Because a positive review is simplistic in nature, there's not much to say past the usual questions everyone wants answered.
- Yes, she's real.
- Yes, she's fair in her rates
- Yes, she's good.
- Yes, there's parking

...then what else is there to say? Sure the reviewer can write out a "Dear Penthouse" anecdote to get us all jonesing to meet her. But sometimes "mileage" is a factor, and we should know nothing is guaranteed in having the same experience, and it sometimes falls into a negative review real easily.

Also these ladies make their own schedule too. So it's not like a bunch of clients who read the good review can dogpile on her schedule, so they can rush back to their computers and parrot the same experience in a review. So I'm not sure how many people could create numerous reviews to back up the first review and have the positivity overshadow the negativity.

And we wonder why SW's hate these boards... (but go on, call me a "white knight")
Well, for starters, they probably hate these sites to cover up how disingenuous they can be and to affirm their self-delusion. Not saying EVERY provider are liars and scammers, but there are degrees of misrepresentation clients tend to fall for. Some providers claim to be early 20's, and 100lbs spinners, when in truth they're late 30s, and 100lbs heavier. And they don't like that. So they ham up the victim card and hate on the review site; because it exposes too much they can't keep the grift going.... (*I mean, why lie, when there is a market for all sorts of types, right? Why pretend their something they're not? Unless they're not self-aware?)

Yes, on the other hand, sometimes people can be cruel for no reason, but those that frequent this site should point out the trends of when someone is bullshitting. Also there is the manner of competition; certain agencies tend to troll one another with the quality of their providers they have available. And again, maybe a client or the provider failed on the 'mileage' factor. A client read a review saying how great she is, detail by detail, and came to her expecting the same treatment, but maybe the guy wasn't good-looking and didn't have the enough "sway" to get the real enthusiastic service the first reviewer had....

Overall, there is a massive difference between the requirements for having a positive review, and the requirements for bad review.

I would assume this would be a concrete reason as to why many use phone apps ( text ) or emails. If threats come to light, both registered phone numbers apps and emails can deleted and recreated. Problem solved. Almost the same reason why many won't E-transfer.

It’s super distressing how many guys have tried to write negative reviews of me / threatened to do so because I’ve declined to see them. I know a lot of my colleagues have experienced the same thing. Take negative reviews into consideration for sure, but don’t forget they could just be an angry man who got rejected. Alternatively they could be a client who asked for a service in the moment that was denied and they felt ripped off. There are two sides to every story.

I’m not saying that negative reviews are never real; I’m just saying to take into account that they sometimes aren’t. Whether in DMs or posted publicly, the men on this forum are 100% anonymous. They could be anyone; they could be a 19 year old kid who’s never even booked a provider. Don’t just trust blindly. 😘

Gut instincts are often best. If you get a good feeling about a provider, go for it! Keep your wits about you and look out for signs it’s a scam.

You can usually tell. One thing I look at to gauge the veracity of a review is how the reviewer reviews in general. Are they fairly even handed? Or are they someone who is never happy? They write like an asshole and are probably assholes in session too.

I think reviews for here, are much like reviews anywhere, where people are more likely to leave a review if they have a negative experience, somewhat likely to leave one with an amazing experience… but most people don’t want to take the time out of their day to write a review here, or anywhere else. I have had many clients from this website since I began escorting this past March, but have only had a few reviews. I also don’t ask my clients to give reviews, but it’s nice to see when they do take the time to think of me and review or make a comment.

About negative reviews, I think we all should take them with a grain of salt, and unless the SP misrepresents themselves, provides horrible service, scams, rips off a client or anything else where they aren’t legit, reviews are one’s own experience and taste. I have had people leave reviews or comments where they say they weren’t attracted to me physically, and I have had many clients tell me how beautiful I am and how they were pleasantly surprised at my appearance when meeting me. To each their own! I won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but I’m some peoples cup of tea. Same goes for all SP’s.

What is NOT okay are negative, mean and spiteful reviews. I have had this happen to me, where the client lied, and exaggerated what happened. I was mortified at the lies, and thankfully mods did take that down. I have seen fake reviews of other SP’s too, that were taken down by mods. These are absolutely not okay at all. If an SP asks you to say something bad about another please don’t! You can also let mods know about this abhorrent behaviour.

Also I saw someone comment about SP’s asking to remove bad reviews or harassing clients to do so. I’m pretty sure this is not acceptable behaviour for PERB. If an SP harassed someone for a bad review let mods know. Bad reviews happen sometimes, and sometimes they warn others … it’s the false reviews that should be removed. I would think it to be really bad form to contact a PERB member to ask them to remove a bad review. If it’s a false review SP’s can contact mods and settle things like adults, and let them see both sides and let them make a decision.

VERY
well said and thanks for this post.
You have very much encapsulated what reviews should be.
