Fuck man, this was a tread remembering Tyler Hawkins And the tragidy of his death. Forgive us if we are sympathetic to family and situation
Let me expand a bit.
If you can read in my post, I am not sympathetic to his family and friends. The tragedy is that he used drugs. His family and friends knew this. Thus by any other logic; they are enablers of his drug use.
Like I said in the above post, this is society ignoring the problems of celebrities' who die from drug overdoses. They use words like tragedy, gone before his/her time.
So society bleeds for their loss; but the underlying problem is the drug use. Most people think drug use is cool, a way to escape the modern world for a time. A rush chemically induced by themselves for various reason, but mostly to escape the reality of modern life; stress, pressures etc.
When somebody famous dies, society's reaction is "Apologetic", and "Sorry I feel bad that they passed away". "Sorry is also used as a
polite way to show
your sympathy to someone because of a
loss,
problem, or
trouble the
person has had:" .
Sure that is great if they died from natural causes or in an accident; but when they die from drugs. They died putting something into their bodies and died, which is suicide; and most religions condemn suicide...
I also said that if drug addicts keep overdosing, then maybe society should just let them die. It all comes from most people in society of being "bleeding hearts". Not saying that is bad, but you have to draw line somewhere. Is society brainwashed into thinking that "life is sacred"??? Which is why you have to help if someone is in trouble?
If you look at society today, violence is considered a "bad thing", but violence is a great way to get rid of those pent up emotions... Alot of people turn to physical exercise to cope with the excess emotion.
And alot of people turn to drugs.
So why are you sympathetic to the family and the situation? Feeling emotional? Our common response to a stranger (who lost a loved one - who we don't know at all) is a society's response "I am so sorry for your loss"; which you if you think about it; you are not sorry at all. You have no direct emotional connection to to the person that died at all. If you know the person (who lost a loved one), but don't know the person who died, your only connection is thru that person you know. But in most cases, you forget about it and go about your daily life.
Quite a revealing post as to your total lack of understanding of the realities of addiction as well as zero compassion for those so afflicted. And totally non-sensical as usual.
Billam I love your generic comments, pls be more specific on the details of additions. Pls educate me.
Please be more specific to where my compassion should be:
1. Toward the person that died
2. Family and Friends
I think I shown that both should not be given any sympathy due to the drugs and the enabling of the person doing drugs. After all, its just an opinion.
In the past you have WoWed alot of my comments/Opinions, but try to educate me in the future as to how my opinions are wrong, after all you have so much to say, without really explaining yourself.
With "like"ing a thread, you somewhat agree to it.
With "WOW"ing a thread, you disagree, but it does not tell me why you disagree with it. After all I am curious.
Have a great weekend!
