Blocking someone from messaging

Does anyone know how I can block someone from ever DMing me again ?


I think this guy as some problems. He’s asked me the same question like 30 times over the course of 6 months , it went past annoying a while ago now.

Click on his handle, on the bottom of the pop up screen there’s 3 options, follow, ignore and start conversation. Click the ignore button and that should block any DM’s.

I personally love that ignore button and use it rather diligently. On some threads if I click unignore all the vitriol appears and similar for the various similar trolls who dm me. It's like a happy button.

By the way, in the past it was always PM (private message) and these days I see pretty much always DM. Am I behind modern times?

Will the Ignore function also block from seeing any forum posts from that person?

I found on mobile, the block button seems hidden. It only gives you the ignore option. On the browser version it does show the block option.

This might need a mod with UX/UI experience to adjust so the option is more visible in mobile.

Yes, you will see that there is a blocked post, but not the content. You can click to reveal even a blocked post however

If you have told someone not to DM you and they contact you again, flag it for the mods, we will give warnings and bans as needed for harassment
