If its a liberal minority, there will be no leadership review for Trudeau. Makes him appear weak.

Also most people recognize the changing/shifting of support due to politcal party platforms. The days of winning big in ONT and Que are gone. The ridings are fractured in the provinces; esp Quebec. winning big in Quebec gets you a majority....Ont is now usally split between lib and con. rest of canada doen not count.

Transportation is the key. Manufacturing is next. Aptly getting supporting minor industries to support transportation and manufacturing. The economy only works if you buy canadian. Most candians will spend their retirement money in another country.

Of course he will keep it, been living here for 18 years. NDP has never come even close to a loss here in South Burnaby. I always ask myself why even bother voting heh.

Ironically I think the NDP would support proportional representation.

The Liberals have getting min votes to maximize seats down pat.
The Liberals have a minority government.

What does this mean, it means that they will be in power for the next 2 to 2.5 years.

Any sooner will be a Liberal majority, because Canadians will not want to go to the polls sooner.

The kicker will be the NDP driving stuff, like child care, and house buying for Canadians, without the benefit of being the lead on them.

In the next few weeks it would be ideal to push a tax increase. Why - should the government fall, won't be the Liberal taking the blame as Canadians go back to the polls; it would of been caused by the rest of the parties (PC, Que, and NDP).

Interesting to see that the PERB poll mirrors the popular vote levels in the real election (minus the presence of the Bloc Quebecois).

In rhetoric, but not always in practice. Some of them want it, but some of them really don't. Remember that NDPer Bill Tieleman always leads every anti-electoral reform campaign. What guys like him want is a polarized FPTP landscape, with just one party of "the right" (the Cons) versus just one of "the left" (the NDP).
