1. Ignoring all the data indicating that vaccine effectiveness is much longer lasting than implied by the initial vaccination schedule suggested by the vaccine manufacturers

2. Ignoring the rationale for why the vaccine manufacturers gave their second vaccination in an accelerated timeframe

3. Ignoring that science evolves as new data is collected in real time

4. Suggesting that our public health officials aren't basing their decision making on scientific evidence

5. Suggesting that we are wasting doses by delaying second doses

6. Ignoring the data that suggests delaying the second dose may in fact lead to a stronger and longer lasting vaccine efficacy

7. Suggesting Dr. Henry has denied that additional boosters will be required in the future

8. Constantly being disrespectful towards public health officials to cast doubt on their recommendations

9. Childish name calling to diminish and demean public health officials

10. Constantly making unsupported claims

11. Casting misinformation about the efficiency and effectiveness of our vaccine rollout

Should I go on?

This all contributes to misinformation, disinformation and confusion which are the enemies of coordinated and effective public health policy and acts to harm public health.
Please go on. There is nothing the world respects more than a sycophant for the government. The Trudeau government botched procurement and Canadians are getting sick and dying because of that. Address that issue Prince Woke

I got the Moderna shot. Had a slightly sore arm the next couple of days after.
This pandemic and vaccination program has really been an eye opener for me regarding how selfish and unpatriotic a lot of people are.
I got the shot to help protect myself, my family my co-workers my community and fellow Canadians.
Hopefully by the end of Summer when everyone has had the opportunity to get the jab the outcome will be positive.

I’ve got family members that have chronic health issues that are being managed with modern medicine.I am a firm believer in modern medicine!

If we fucked up procurement how are we sitting where we are? It is like calling a silver or bronze medalist in the Olympics a loser.

Of countries with over a million in population we are currently 9th in the world and climbing fast. In the G8 we only trail the UK and the USA.

Educate yourself, it will shatter your erroneous world view!

Things are looking up for a return to 'normal' in Canada in time for summer.

If I was eligible, I probably would be, but I still have some waiting to do.

I got both of my shots, I am hoping Canada will let in USA people who have had their shots. It will boost the economy for Canada to let us jabbed people in but I don't think Trudeau will have any of this until there is not one covid case in the world. I am hoping to be able to go to Canada by Jan. 2022 or 2023.

Just a hunch, but I believe fully vaccinated Americans will be among some of the first visitors allowed into Canada without a quarantine requirement. How soon? As soon as there’s enough immunity/decreased infection rates here to allow restrictions to be mostly lifted. The government(s) up here can’t be telling young people, who are last in line to be vaccinated, to limit interactions and hold the line while allowing immunized middle aged and up Canadians as well as Americans of all ages to play by a different set of rules. There is a tremendous amount of societal and economic pressure to open the border from both sides and I believe it could be as early as mid to late summer if and when cases wane sufficiently, but fall or winter seem possible too. I can’t wait to drive down to Bellingham or Seattle just because I’ll be able to.

I totally agree. And the USA is ahead of us only because they have ability to produce their own vaccines. Possibly the UK as well. It very likely did not make sense financially, at least before this pandemic struck, for Canada to try to produce it's own vacccines. If it did make sense to do so, the Conservative under Harper likely would have done so.

I could not believe Canada could not produce vaccines for ourselves. This government really need to explain about this. Our health system has to be under review.

So I’m just wondering what this vaccine is really for? Correct me if I’m wrong but a “vaccinated or immunized” person can still contract the virus and spread it? So would this vaccine not give people a false sense of security and create more cases? Also is the age of the people severely affected not 80 plus years old? Who is really at risk of dying here?

Vaccinated person mild flu symptoms
non vaccinated person dead
which would you choose?

The fact that you all listen to a centralized source for health information boggles my mind. Western Medicine and western culture in general has proved to be the unhealthiest form of treatment.

Previous studies on the Original Sars-Cov-1 vaccine, lead to Immunopathology problems in mice. It made them more vulnerable to viruses and pathogens because they developed ADE (Antibody Dependent Enhancement)
https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0035421

So if we never successfully vaccinated a CoronaVirus, what makes you think that skipping animal trials and moving right onto humans with less than 1 year of studies is a smart thing to experiment with?

Below is another study from North Carolina Uni in 2015 where they studied Gain-of-function Coronaviruses from bats. They enhanced a Coronavirus from a bat with genetic code of the first SARS virus, and the result was a pandemic potential virus that could not be vaccinated.
https://www.med.unc.edu/orfeome/wp-...ruses-shows-potential-for-human-emergence.pdf

You guys do the research. I just laid out the framework for you, now you be the judge...I also have to point out the first variants appeared not long after the first rounds of vaccinations in the UK

People at the clinics are not volunteers but paid staff who work at Roger's Arena, PNE ect. as they were laid off last year due to COVID.

Got vaxxed at RBC in Winnipeg.
Went very smoothly, in and out less than 40 minutes, including 15 minute wait after the jab.
Lots of people to guide you.
Prepare your consent form before going. It's on the booking site.
Note to anyone going: FREE PARKING IN THE UNDERGROUND PARKING AREA! They give you a voucher as you leave the vax area.
No ill effects or sore arm.

I helped a friend take her mother when the place first opened. It was disorganised and there was a lot of complaining about it in media.
They have improved and it is a totally different system now.
Recommend it if you can't get vaxxed by your doctor or pharmacy.

The conservative governments under Harper cut R&D funding by upwards of 15% year while in power. R&D did not make sense to them and THAT is the single most contributing factor to Canada not having vaccine production today. But the problem goes back further and is endemic of Canada being good at exporting jobs. Unfortunately the loss of many key scientists and tech personnel under older governments contributed to Canada not having the ability to create vaccines. Vaccine production should be part of our country's national security policy as this pandemic is showing us. But wait folks there's more. The next one could just be an extinction event.
