How I confine myself has nothing to do with the points made in the post. Points regarding the general predictability of human beings as well as the availability of answers for just about any topic. The predictability leads to pessimism and ultimately makes life less interesting
While predictability of human beings can be generally categorized as true, what you experience to be predictability is likely due to the fact that you confine yourself to experiences where you experience such predictability. Why don't you move to another country and culture and see how quickly it would take you to become acclimatized to the point of experiencing predictability?

I disagree that predictability leads to pessimism. Like I've said before, get off the books and computer, and live life in the real world. Your consumption of toxic masculinity is more detrimental to your wellbeing than you realize. It's perpetuating a belief that is strengthened by your life experience, but you're unable to distinguish cause from effect.

Good luck to you, brother.

It goes in cycles. Very exciting at times followed by lulls of boredom. We can make life as boring or as exciting as we want. I prefer a casual laid back lifestyle now as I've gotten older but it hasn't been boring.
One would think that being able to project social phenomena better would be a good thing but all it does is ruin everything lol. There's no motivation to try so many things in life when u know the answer. Makes it all so uninteresting and pointless

I need to become an adrenaline junkie or something. Less brain more brawn activity. Not getting my neck snapped or something while snowboarding is hella hard to project I bet lol

Since I went sober & quit working for others and started working for myself every day is a fucking treasure. Right now? Not great obviously. But it’s temporary. I would say my life might not be more *interesting* (I’m not blowing coke dealers for drugs or waking up in random strangers’ beds or driving around drunk looking for trouble like I was 3 years ago) but it’s definitely more *meaningful*. Guess that’s what happens when you almost kill yourself and then bring it back.

... you know the answer? LOL, reading the tea leaves I see. Sounds like you need to get out more...guess we all do right now...

I think it's a good time for some motivational quotes:
1) People who wonder if the glass is half empty or half full are missing the point. The point is that the glass is refillable (or $0.50 depending on the establishment)
2) Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there. (Are you just sitting around? Put those dancing shoes on!!!)

Now a big perb group hug. You're going to be okay.

The pursuit of happiness often leads to the opposite. Each day when I wake up I identify what I am grateful for and it jump starts my day.
A good habit. Every now and then I do the same. Happiness is not a default state it is a byproduct of positive outcomes. Enjoy it but realize it's always temporary

The glass is not refillable for many on earth but optimism is welcome

Culture and ultimately human behaviour is always downstream from biology and the environment. The only difference between the first world and the third is that the first world can accommodate a greater range of behaviours and outcomes. The inherent situation of the third world is such that wealth and opportunities are limited and social stigma is greater, forcing a narrower set of behaviours. Behaviours which one must follow to prevent suffering, or death

Take South Korea. In their Confucianist society, great emphasis was once placed upon the knowledge of their elders, now that is not the case. You can see it even in the way their language refers to elders. But not anymore. Times are changing. Moving to a different part of the world would do very little to make things more challenging for me, again in terms of projecting human behaviour and outcomes

But thank you for the advice always appreciated

and I doubt you really do wish that. I was MISERABLE lol

Things changed for me once I crossed the big 60 threshold.

In my mid 60's, I wouldn't say it is worse or better. I am seeing younger and/or very pretty girls, so ... it is good. Is it worse? Well, I don't wanna get old, or let me rephrase it, I don't wanna rot in long term care homes. So that thought can bog me down a bit.

But HECK, I am alive today, I still remember my log in info to PERB which means, I am planning for my December escapade. That's all that matters. F.. life. I am alive and I will live as long as I know I am alive. Let me rephrase that, F... death. I am celebrating life as long and as best as I can.

It could be said by some spending money on a SP is spending money on stupid shit, I dont say that, I do say spending money you can not afford ion a SP is the same as having a drug/gambling/booze habit

It’s not the length of your years that disqualifies you from seeing an SP, generally speaking. What matters is 1. if you are carrying the full donation in your wallet or not AND 2. if you are respectful towards the sp or not.

Being older certainly has an advantage in this hobby. While the lower age limit is very common among sp’s, I have seen the upper age limit only a few times.

Live and enjoy every pooning moment of life.

I think spending money on experiences is the smartest thing you can do. I like spending money on travelling, concerts, amazing food, etc. Stuff that enriches my life and makes it more colourful. If SPs do that for you, have at 'er (literally).
