Only amps. How do you police a condo or hotel visit?
I don't think condos or hotels will be policed as sucj, but it could definitely invoke the ire of suspicious neighbours. That's occasionally a problem for SPs even when there isn't a public health order.

I don't know how they will police it, but the rule is, no visitors in any household, only residents. An SP's condo isn't your household, so if you visit, both you and she are violating the rules. The police can't watch everyone, but all it takes is for a neighbour to notice the comings and goings and report it. The police, health inspectors and bylaw enforcement officers will all be involved in enforcement.

They're trying to control it without having to shut down most businesses, so I wonder if, in fact, AMPs might be able to continue to operate, while indies working out of private residences can't? I'm confused about that.

Wonder how long “2 weeks to slow the spread” will drag out for this time ?
I’d say more like two months, perhaps with more restrictions coming in the next few weeks as hospitalizations and deaths start catching up with these numbers.

LE : Do you live here ?
Perbite: No I'm visiting a diner in the sky where I will have some DATY

LE: Do they have doughnuts ?
Perbite: Don't think so . You'll have to see Kelsey for doughnuts, but she just cancelled all pre booked appointments out of an abundance of caution.

LE: What else is available at this diner ?
Perbite: If you leave a bigger tip the waitress will actually CIMWS

Perbite: I just saw a guy with a backpack and grinder cut a bike lock and ride away with a nice bike.
LE: Uh huh.

Perbite: I think I saw him ride to the CHOP SHOP and he's not practising social distancing with his fellow colleagues and there was no PPE. Will their business be shut down ?
LE:Well it's technically not a business because we can't prove if it's not their personal property.

Perbite: But they're not members of the same household and they are gathering !
LE:There actually is no house.

Perbite: Do tents count as a household ? Are they allowed to mingle in each others tents ?
LE: Sorry I don't have any more time. I have to respond to another call.

Moral of story : LE won't bother us if we ride around with a tent and sleeping bag and at least 2 bicycles ?

Personal Services are not named as being shut down and are actually the lowest level of transmission as an industry category over all. AMP and incalls are not going to be policed more than any other business and are allowed to be open.

thank you to everyone for working to prevent the spread during interactions and respecting the measures put in place by people. it has worked and means we are allowed to remain open.

Continuing to operate right now is just asking for nosey neighbours to report, who might not usually care.

short answer....no you are not breaking the law...personal services have not been asked to close in this lockdown...massage parlors and indy sp's are a very low risk and have been doing a good job preventing the spread and following the guidelines...

please do not ask for banned services and respect the measures put in place in our industry to prevent the spread

i would like to ask that people remember that our community have been diligent in disinfecting/ cleaning and that there have been no outbreaks associated with MP's or indy companions in BC... if people can simply continue to respect measure being put in place , we can still have fun together and people can work.

we are working to ensure that everyone understands the rules including inspectors, police, 311 call takers, etc. together we can ensure we stay open and protect each other at the same time.

while i 100% respect and have compassion for the need to work, but unless both adults wear N95 masks isn’t the likelihood of multiple transmissions from multiple contacts going to go up rapidly and then tracing is going to jeopardize and draw PHA attention
