My favorite band through most if my youth. I was glad I got to see him live when he reunited with David Lee Roth and his son Wolfgang played bass. Maestro. Icon. Legend. All words he's earned as the musical genius who pulled the music scene out of the disco era almost single-handedly.
So sad that we've lost 2 of rock's - actually music's - most influential people in history this year. First Neil Peart now Eddie.
RIP Eddie - Rock God ?
Doubly stabbed in the heart. Two of the best ever to grace the airwaves, each in their own right!
Heh, kinda reminds me of the Rush song, Closer to the heart.
Love for music gave and gives us things we shall never forget.
Our first kiss with a teen age gal, Making out in the back seat of cars at the drive in.
All these great memories are born of great music more times than not.
Thank god we can relish in having experienced them first hand with seeing their
shows in concert and sitting back at home enjoying their tunes on whatever media
player you have. Love the old turntable to this day!! LOL!!
We who got to experience this ROCK generation and grew up during it will never
forget. We were so fortunate to have lived it. Just like the muscle car era.
Rock and roll and heavy metal. It is a sad thing and I feel sorry for the generations
to come who could not have experienced this. Its was a grander time no doubt!
Rock on Eddie in Rockers Heaven and thank you for everything you gave us.
