Now you know how we feel about 'moans'.Automatic feels so fake
excuse me. I am VERY vocal and it's 100% not fake. sounds like you need to take THIS car for a spinNow you know how we feel about 'moans'.
In this day and age maybe ... But back in the day when I hung with a very rough crowd, and did very bad things, we all knew how to drive a stick. That is a great point to reiterate!
Most car thieves don't know how to drive a manual, so they won't bother stealing them, for the most part.
With a good teacher or instructor your clutch should be almost pristine after 400k or more . I had work done on forks 4th and 5th gear at 450k on a Toyota and the tranny place told no need to replace the clutch it's pristine. But it could depend on the quality of the parts too .Pencil in an extra $500-$1000 in maintenance every 3-5 years to change worn clutch plates ...
Got carjacked at knife point near HSC in Winnipeg.........was driving a 5 speed Honda CRV at the time.......... turned it off and got out and then watched with amusement as the thief tried to figure it out. Finally gave up and got out the car swearing a blue streak.^^actually no, some thieves have no clue. When I was living in Manitoba (in my bad girl days) I had my car stolen. I found it with the clutch completely burnt out.
