You're incorrectly conflating turmoil with actual real problems. Most of what Orange Man is criticized for are misquotes, meaningless gaffes and blatantly misrepresented non-stories that are Tweeted and shared among liberal opinion personalities that call themselves "journalists". The truth is that journalism is basically dead because true journalism is a reporting of factual events as they happened, not to be injected with morality opinion snippets and bias and clipped to present a false narrative. Just look at any journalist, or persons that call themselves journalists, and then have a look at their Twitter feeds. Brian Stelter of CNN is one of the biggest offenders.
This all points to the original idea that you presented that "turmoil" is the same as real problems and that the turmoil from the past 3.5 years is worse than problems created by individuals that were in office thirty years ago and still in office today. Do you think something Orange Man said is as bad as something Joe Biden and Nancy voted for, such as the
Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act in 1994, which is directly responsible for much of the “systemic racism” complaints we’re hearing about today? It is absolutely fantastical to believe that the same people that have been in office, in form or another, for the past thirty years, are suddenly going to change anything, much less for the better.
