That is my prediction. I hope this is not the case for the Mexico Border as I am going to hopefully vacation there in September. If the USA/Canada border is shut for a extended lockdown I wonder what will the snowbirds do when they are locked up in freezing ass Canada for 6 months? Will they revolt? Buy extra long johns? Be careful what you wish for Canada, there will be no winter escapes pretty soon.

For what it's worth, I read some really frightening Covid numbers for Mexico recently, if think that the U.S. numbers are bad.
I feel the cure is worse than the disease. I am willing to take my chances and go out there and live life. I don't want to huddle in crowds, just do normal things like go to a movie in the afternoon when no one is there, eat inside Jack in the Box and not in my car. . The government is doing too much to damage citizen's mental health.
I really don't get the laws anyway, I work in a big name hardware store. Its been bombarded with customers more than ever. I am up to my butt in customers. No one has gotten ill or sent to the hospital at work due to exposure for C19. The hospital in Seattle are laying off staff as there is nothing for them to do as elective surgeries are postponed. There are no ambulances going on 24/7 to bring in C19 cases.

Okay fair enough, but DO your part to not spread it.
In one way Honda you have been very lucky to not have
experienced the disease in Seattle like so many other places.
Same as it's not so bad here in B.C. but we've had outbreaks nonetheless.
With that in mind don't think it can't happen there. It just takes one
sick person who doesn't realize it and wants to go eat at their favorite
restaurant, go shopping, hit the theatre and maybe the walmart for
an evening shop and coughing shit up all over the place to spread this
disease like napalm on a sunday morning over a misty mountain top.
Remember you can have the disease and not even know it as
you may not even experience any symptoms and walk away scot free
from that 0.25 % But you bloody well could infect 10 or 100 more people
depending on your actions and some of them could die from it.
Everyone must think of it from that level. It's spread even by people who
don't experience symptoms for fucks sake. That's scary shit!!!
Please dont be complacent about this disease especially for the reason
that those that do have compromised immune systems, underlying
health problems are really more so at risk... Think of getting the virus
under the circumstances of those sorts of people and maybe it will
give your head something to seriously consider.
Be vigilant against spreading the invisible enemy. Covid is not.
That may by why we have not had the seriousness of the disease in the numbers
they are experiencing in the US. i hope to god all those protests and reopening of businesses
like the covid had all of a sudden disappeared isn't going to bite the US in the
perverbial ass. I did notice during the seattle protests that it appeared more
people were wearing masks than any other city so far in the US that I have seen
on the tube. Well done!

Understand a few things about the Canadian economy. Bad enough that British Columbians don't have jobs that produce anything. Importing depletes the value of the Canadian dollar. Don't expect your money to be worth much overseas for all those imported items when you're not sending back anything in return. Retailing at home just gets to be a drain on the whole Canadian economy when 50 percent of the purchase price gets sent out of the country. Won't go into a discussion about how the Canadian dollar even has its current meagre value. Don't know all the details, from what I've seen it's not a pretty picture. If you cross the border to shop that's even worse, 100 percent of the purchase price is gone. The bottom line is that everybody in British Columbia is on welfare. All the employers are on welfare, ergo the employees are on welfare. Another discussion that I'm not going into is how welfare depletes the motivation to work.
air canada is lobbying the federal government hard to eliminate the 14 day quarantine as there is no point in them operating any flights outside the country until they do. now even if the feds give in i'm afraid the BC government is going to try and keep up prisoner as long as they can. i noticed today that alberta stated that they are going to let their state of emergency expire. BC is ahead of alberta with it's numbers but seems like it's going to keep it's state of emergency so that Henry keeps her powers.

BC with 268 dead and 2756 confirmed positive giv3 a 6.1% fatality rate. Methinks lotsa folks have caught it and gotten over it. once that ten-cent antibody test becomes available, MAYBE we will have a more accurate mortality rate.
