This is about flattening the curve of cases. If you look at the graph, the area underneath it is still the same in both cases. That means the number of people that are going to get it does not change. It is just how many people get very sick at one time. The projections are that the same number of people will get sick, the same number will require ICU, but it gets spread out over time. So, someone gets very sick, needs ICU and gets it. They get moved out of ICU after a certain time and the next sick person takes their bed in ICU. So instead of 100 people needing 15 ICU beds in the same week, those 100 people get spread out over 2 or 3 months.
One of my favorites is retiring in a month as well. I understand what you are feeling. I wish her the best.
I understand the workers need to make money like anyone else; however, the government is looking at mortgage/rent deferrals so no1 gets kicked out of their homes and providing almost anyone (even self employed) with EI... I’m sure there are ways they can survive this through, but maybe some have kids or expenses that We don’t know about...
So I understand if some have to work.. However, just because I and some of you fall into the very low risk category, doesn’t mean we should take the risk and put the general population at risk, because we can’t abstain from a hobby for a few weeks...
Girls can take all the precautions with showers, hand sanitizers they want... But most young people are not symptomatic for 5 days and those seems to be the most contagious days...
Not trying to preach or tell anyone what to do... Just giving my input, And it’s up to each of us to make our informed decisions... I’m just saying what I’ve heard on the news, from healthcare workers and want to share it, so no1 thinks showers and hand sanitizers will stop you from getting the corona virus...

The entire world wouldn’t be shut down and on self isolation if all we needed to do was shower and use hand sanitizer...

Yeah but some don't file and they are gonna be SOL because the no EI program goes through your CRA account.
The worry with the general economy is that lost spending for many industries cannot be recovered... think the movie you might see on a weeknight, or that trip ski trip you were gonna take, or the numerous birthday dinners with your friends that passed.
I feel that isn't the case with pooning... I for one, am very likely to go on a spree when this blows over.

Everyone will be affected and the government knows that... So creating mortgage postponement options and rent freezes is how the government appears to be planning on dealing with these situations..
So whether it’s an SP or painter, or realtor or your local car mechanics any of them can be affected by not filing their latest tax returns or being sloppy and being a few years behind.

I wish there was a stat for COVID deaths related to the sex trade.
I agree to play it safe especially if you take care of parents or if you live with others.
I do think the sex workers are getting roasted and tarred unfairly.
