What would be really entertaining would be a list of banned handles and a quote of the post that got them banned. The frustrating part of Perbatory is that it makes me really want to know what they said. I suppose quoting it would defeat the purpose but still.

BTW if anyone knows what QM'r posted to get his year ban, PM me (assuming that's ok).

There are a few forums I'm active in besides PERB, and the one thing I've learned from trying to understand the respective "rules" of those forums is.....it doesn't matter.... It's not a democracy. There is no due process. Sure they can paint up some Do's and Don'ts rules, but it's all for show. At the end of the day, it all depends on their mood. Heck, I could get banned because the mod was in a drunken bar fight and a bottle of Canadian Club smashed across their face, and saw my handle with the word "Rye" on it, got triggered and banned me......or there can be no rhyme or reason.

Not to saying PERB mods are the worst type of people with their finger on the ban-button. But there are other forums on the internet where they just want to play 'god' with an ant-farm. Especially if they are virtue-signalling SJWs, who want to keep the narrative insulated from any real logic in the world, and heaven forbid you offer any 'outside the box' philosophy. Again, imo, doesn't happen on PERB just a common occurrence across other parts of the surface web.

As for this Perbatory, sure, call them out for being a dumb-ass. It's their sand-box they can do whatever the hell they want, even if the rules don't make any sense.

Are more members finally getting the drift of how this Board is intended to work?
I bet these guys that consistently get booted and return with fresh accounts and handles don't really care.....they're not terribly difficult to spot most- but obviously not all- of the time.

Actually he's gotten a lot better......still protective, but not to the extreme. I get the feeling that being able to go logging helps to take some of the stress and aggression out of him......

I had one like that....a giant Rottweiler, that had been abused before I got him , he wouldn't let anyone or anything near me.
He stood his ground between me and a bear, without hesitation ....I think I've told you this story.....he laid down his life for me, and died like a Soldier.

You might want to revise your bets, I just checked the 2007 version took 10.5 months to get to 100 posts and they were a lot faster with the banning hammer than we are. Also is it 100 posts or 100 members, some posts might have more than one member.

I think also incident's should include any duration of banning or anything you get an infraction point for. All counted separately. I have never been banned but average one infraction point per year, think only one being permanent for necro posting. Not sure if infractions get posted in perbatory.

I'm still around.....so we need to agree what the count is at.
