Its sad, I grew up in a law abiding country called Canada. I grew up in a medium sized town. There were no such things as gangs. From my late teen, there were high interest rates and high unemployment. The difference between rich, middle class and the dirt poor increased.
High taxes, low paying jobs has people turning to crime to meet their basic needs and to get a few extras...
So farmers will now have guns nearby when a strange vehicle comes to their farm....
The increase in gangs and cooperation of between gangs and organized crime is getting better. The police are at a point where their effectiveness is decreasing due to legal issues and safety for themselves.
So how many of you have done the following:
1. Spit on street
2. Jay walk
3. litter (from car or when walking ) threw garbage on the ground
4. Sped on highway/road above the speed limit
6. Failed to stop at a stop sign (did the old American rolling stop)
7. Ran a red light, or could of stopped for that yellow
8. ate an fruit/vegetable in grocery store to see how it tasted, but didn't pay for it (theft)
9. Skipped out on last months rent and moved out
10. Drive your car without insurance, steal a tag off someone's else's car
11. Broke into a car and stole stuff or borrowed a friends tools and never returned it.
12. Told someone a lie. (includes white lies) or lied for someone to protect someone
13. Unfairly took advantage of someone or situation when you knew it was wrong
14 Hurt someone physically (reason doesn't matter)
15 Broke stuff at a house party and didn't pay for it or tell the owner
16 Disrespect somebody
Nobody is perfect. Somewhere in the above list (not a complete list) ; are where criminals start ( at little things we think aren't so bad), and just increases from their because of their choices, or lack of choices...
As sad as the start may be, it may come to the point where people will get hurt or killed, because people want to protect themselves.
Judge, Jury and Executioner...... don't be a vigilante, use the police please.
If you are carrying a gun around (personnal -- not professionally like a cop or security -- hand gun, rifles don't count they are for hunting ):
1. Either you did something wrong and you know people are out to get you,
2. You are a criminal
