St Francis of Assisi Day!!!

October 4th is the Feast of St Francis of Assisi. For those of you that didn't know, he is the patron Saint of Animals. The closest Sunday to the Feast (TODAY!!) is the day that many churches hold the blessing of the animals. I have never been a religious woman, more spiritual, but you can never have too many good vibes! I, for 1, will absolutely be taking my most precious cargo, my furry 4 legged very best friend and constant companion to receive his blessings.

I only have 3 legs so I will either stay home or go somewhere I can get Assisitance with the third leg. Either way I will consider it a blessing after it sneezes.

We just lost one of our dogs, but thankfully we still have one, and for that we are blessed. Happy St. Francis Day!

I'm sorry for your loss, they are waiting for you at the rainbow bridge! Thankfully one is still with you, animals and the love, affection and companionship they bring are truly a blessing in all of our lives! Happy St Francis day!
