Check your closet..:)
Pretty much everything you can imagine is suspect now. We almost lost someone last week over Fentanyl as Zanax.
You never know until it kills you. http://www.cbc.ca/m/news/canada/british-columbia/topstories/drug-overdose-warning-issued-in-vancouver-after-3-deaths-in-24-hours-1.3378832

this is happening all over North America...and I think the fent comes from China

and honestly, if you're gonna inject anything into your veins, you are asking for ALL kinds of risks!

Fentanyl is everywhere and into everything now.

you are right, I don't do it but I do know some people who do and they don't listen to me anyways...and the scary part is they don't even know where its coming from so its all a game of luck with that. Fentanyl is extremely dangerous with no tolerance, even hardcore heroin addicts on the needle will fall out from a hotspot fentanyl laced bag, snorting and injecting it can kill you if you have no tolerance.

Words of wisdom.
Addiction is one thing but there are many that who are recreational users. Life to them doesn't mean much I gather.....which to me, boggles my mind and tragic at the same time.

One thing I'm thankful for is never have dabbled.. ...or allowed myself to get involved with that extreme garage.

In the years I have been using the services of escorts, I have occasionally encountered escorts that were visibly impared by either drugs or alcohol. I usually walk.

A number of years ago I was seeing someone fairly regularly and on occasion she would appear a little dopey. One day I texted her moments before I arrived, as was our protocol, and she inadvertently texted me something about morphine. Obviously I had interrupted another conversation and she had mistakenly texted me. As I had seen her already a number of times, we had a conversation about it, she assured me she was taking it orally, and I went through with the appointment. It did make me more aware during future engagements of her behaviours.

More recently I was with an escort who I had seen before. It was a longer appointment during which we shared a bottle of wine. At one point (after at least an hour) she excused herself and went to the kitchen and bathroom, approximately 20 minutes later she passed out while we were having sex. She had a pulse and was still breathing, and I was able to wake her up after slapping her face a few times. She insisted she was fine and was almost in denial that anything had happened. She also wanted to continue having sex. She passed out again while giving me head and again I had to wake her up by calling her name and slapping her face. She still was in denial that anything was wrong and denied taking anything, although she suddenly started to complain about a terrible head ache. She passed out again and luckily her room mate was home, so I was able to talk to her before calling 911. The roommate assured me that my date had probably taken some ghb, had over done it, but would be fine sleeping it off. I stayed with her for another hour watching her sleep to make sure she continued breathing before leaving.

To be honest I had been scared shitless thinking she was oding and although primarily I was just concerned for her well being, since I have thought about what would have happened if I had called 911.

Have others had to deal with similar occurrences? And let's leave the names out of it, I am not trying to shame anyone.

Similar occurrence a few years ago:

I ran into a woman I knew at a bar. She had been drinking with a group of guys but came over to chat.
She started to drift off. She was talking to herself, babbling, and talking to people who weren't there.
I could see something was really wrong and took her to a hospital. She passed out in my car on the way.
They took her into emerg right away. I guess they did some toxicology. A couple of doctors came out and drilled me for an uncomfortably long time about everything that had happened, who, what, where, how long I had known her, etc. And then COPS show up. All t5he same questions over and over. Oh fuck. I was pretty worried.
Eventually after several hours she was okay and vouched for me, and verified my version of events.

I'm glad they take the date rape drug seriously, but it was not fun getting mixed up in it.

Omg, yes, I've had some unusual experiences that have happened while in session. I've had an outcall once when I got there everything was fine, but then the guy went to the bathroom and came back and was tweaking and not quite co-herent, but awake... It was the weirdest thing... Then I looked out towards the hallway and noticed a plate with white powder in it about 10 feet away in the hallway... I was finished round 1 so I politely excused myself and walked...

Another time here in toronto, I did an outcall and once I arrived the guy was doing lines all day, and so when I got there he was withdrawn, depressed and drinking wine and i spoke to him about his problem, and went through recommending to him to seek help... he admitted to me he had a problem and I told him I was proud of him for that and that was the first step... We looked up the 12 steps on-line during the session and throughout it all he would get up and do a line and then come and listen... he was a decent person but needed more than I could ever give him... I just hope I saved his life, and I hope he took my advice. I stayed an extra hh out of concern for him, although I just had to leave after a while.

I also had the weirdest experience when I had some one at my place for incall, once the first hr was done I went to wash my hands, and when i came back to the room, buddy had 8 lines laid out on my table!!! He asked me if I wanted some and he was talking fast so I knew he had a line or 2... I immediately said no thanks hon, I'm gonna put this away and ask you to leave... A moment later there was a knock on my door as he had texted his dealer to pop by MY HOUSE with more shit.... those who know me know I was NOT impressed... I politely asked him to leave and said it's not my thing at all, and he should find another party-friendly provider.

Drugs are getting much more powerful all the time, plz if you are taking hard drugs seek help before you die, no one really knows what they are taking anymore and the drug problem has reach epidemic proportions.

There is help, there are people who have been where you are who understand you. There are meetings every single day, there is on-line help, there are sponsors who can help you find the light and overcome addiction and dependencies before you kill yourself and hurt your families. Addicts are not bad people but drugs are very destructive and they do not discriminate and they do not care about you! Please begin to recognize if you have a problem and be part of the solution and inspire others to do the same! If this comment saves one life it's worth it all!

Miss Hunter you are living proof that anyone can overcome addiction, keep sharing and spreading your truth, and may that inspire others who feel alone do the same to over come addiction and empower themselves and find their higher power!

Lots of love,

Sincerely, Lalani xoxox

Could it be a government conspiracy to save some medical care funding? I could not believe that over 400 addicts died within such a short time. On the other hand how much money have the BC government save?

Please, stick to actual facts and supportable opinions, this statement is pure tinfoil hat level nonsense. I normally don't comment, but I lost someone recently to street drugs so this strikes close to home.

All levels of government are pouring resources into trying to address the issue, but it's an tidal wave that is hitting the drug market. It's been stated that something like 90% of the street drugs in the trade in Vancouver right now contain some fentanyl, it's too cheap and easy for the dealers to cut everything from coke to heroin, benzos to meth. Nothing is safe anymore.

Fentanyl is everywhere now.

Weed, street purchased pharmaceuticals and in opioids.

I too attended a celebration of life for one of our own this past summer. We had remained close years after she had retired. To me, she was a shining light.

2016 has been brutal. :(

The wonders of.....it'll never happen to me.....until it does. I can understand when a person is dealing with an addiction, but the recreational users....it boggles the mind that with all the warnings out there, the ongoing and increasing body count, people are still stupid enough to use drugs for recreational purposes. I know it may sound harsh or unfeeling, but I have no sympathy for any of them. Sorry, but I've seen too many people die because of other peoples stupidity to be concerned over people that inflict it on themselves.

I have not mentioned this and no one else that knew has either, but in may one of our own OD on fentanyl . She had been an escort in Victoria when I started 12 yrs ago.

I also have a few girls I know that either smoke herion or shoot it..and I worry about them .But they have gone through detox and got on methadone a number of time anduring some where the system files them and they can't get their methadone and they are back to the herion..Which now is mainly fentanyl.

For some reason there are more women using herion then ever before. Either smoking or injecting ,they don't seem to care about the risk.Of course like some one all ready said they seldom get a high they are just maintaining so they don't get sick and go through withdrawal.

It a very sad situation .

I had no idea the deaths were in the hundreds.

BBC had a documentary about fentanyl in Greensboro, not a huge city. The week they were there four deaths occurred. Hard to imagine how many must be dying altogether.

I cannot imagine doing any kind of illicit drug with this going on. I bet even pot could have it unless you grow your own.

Fentanyl is super dangerous. Just imagine a teensy bit of fentanyl as a grain of sand - that's 110 doses. If the dealer makes a mistake cutting it...someone's gonna die.
