Yes, I would have paid good money to see a prime Duran in that ring last night, instead of an over the hill Pacquiao. There's a movie coming out in the fall about Duran, called "Hands of Stone", Robert De Niro plays Arcel. Since I'm a huge Duran fan, I'm looking forward to it.
Roberto Duran no mass fight with Leonard was another black eye for boxing, lost all respect for him after that fight, sad way to end a career. It will be tough for boxing to hit mainstream after the Manny/Pac joke.

actually, Duran fought on for over a decade after "no mas" including a 3rd fight with Leonard in 1989,where he lost a 12 round decision.
prior to the "uno mas" with Leonard he lost a 15 round decsision in a title fight with Marvin Hagler in 1983 and was ko'd in 2nd round by Hit Man Hearns(dunno if that was
a title fight)in 1984

Damn, I might split the cost if that fight happened!
after the clip finishes there are several others, including one with mayweather sr. talking to Erik Morales.I watched approx. 1 minute,Morales was just listening, probably wondering wtf
mayweather sr was saying.....subtitles would've been a help.

saw on ESPN that Manny will have surgery on his shoulder, recovery time 9-12 mos.,likely the end for Pacman.

It was a shame that not many people were there to support the prior fights... I was very proud of Lomachenko!:cheer2: I would have MUCH preferred to watch a few more of that caliber fight than <blockquote class="imgur-embed-pub" lang="en" data-id="zvfolTs" data-context="false"><a href="//imgur.com/zvfolTs">View post on imgur.com</a></blockquote><script async src="//s.imgur.com/min/embed.js" charset="utf-8"></script> I was disappointed.

he has a political career back in PI.
and one hopes he makes good on his promise of helping his fellow countrymen/women.
but corruption is high so who knows?

At least WWE is more honest about the entertainment it brings and doesn't disguise it as a "fight"
