Commodore Lanes is still on Granville.

I can't remember a movie theatre on Robson but I do remember one in that area that I believe was on Georgia. It's where I saw 2001 for the first time as a young filmgoer. If I'm not mistaken, I think that might've been the same theatre that set some kind of record for showing The Gods Must Be Crazy for the most consecutive weeks.

Edit: A quick google search and I was able to find the name of that theatre: The Fine Arts.
