lots going on to discuss, debate, argue, etc. but let's please do it in a grown-up way.If we disagree there's no need to tell anyone to f..k off, let's leave the immaturity
in the sandbox.

Habs honour former capt. Saku Koivu last night pre-game.
classy move by a classy organization

While the Canucks&Flames are maybe coming back to earth(hey,on Sat. SOMEBODY has to win, lol) I think some eyebrows are raised at the Preds&Isles
still near the top in December.I know, still have approx. 50 games to go.

Hands up if you'd ever heard of Jeff Tedford before this week?I now I hadn't.Buono must think he's got something, hope he doesn't turn out
like that guy who lasted about 6 games as Als' coach in 2013,for get his name, Taffe?or something?

As is always the case, the last 2 weeks of NFL has various possibilities re playoff scenarios.
Tha Afc has 3 Div. champs, but only 4 teams mathematically eliminated, tho' the 7-7 teams are on life-support.

NFC will likely go to the wire re Div champs, wild cards, byes, etc.
Huge game for Dallas, hosting Indy.the 'Boys could be #1 seed or miss the playoffs.

Hope to hear some thoughts,ideas,opinions,etc.

Ok. I predict that the road to the Super Bowl goes through Seattle just like last year.

Nobody alive today will see the Cubs win the World Series.

Tiger Woods won't win until he joins the Champions Tour.

The Grizzlies and Raptors will play for the NBA title within 3 seasons.

There will be multiple winners on the PGA Tour this year from Ledgeview.

Of course I heard of JT he coached at Cal.

Raptors loose in 5 in the second round of the playoffs

Unless raiders or jaguars offer him a bigger contract, Jim Harbaugh goes to Michigan

Sacramento Kings are stupid firing Malone

Canucks barely make the playoffs but lose in first round.

It was a beautiful ceremony befitting a captain on a lousy team (the best winger he had was Brian Savage) who always gave more on the ice than he had. I still remember the year they upset the Bruins who were the heavy favorite. He and Joe Thornton both suffered a crack rip but only Thornton made an excuse out of it. He is small but always played with a big heart. His charity raised enough funds to purchase a PET Scan for the Montreal General Hospital. Another class act in the vein of Jean Beliveau.

Canucks will play LA in round 1 and lose in 7.
Seattle will lose a road playoff game this year, and not make the playoffs for the next 3+ years.
Tampa wins the cup, beating the Panthers in round 1.

Edmonton gets McDavid and ultimately fucks him up.
Blue Jays make the playoffs.
Raptors make the finals.

Jesus Christ. The Seahawks are sure putting on a show tonight. The score is actually flattering the Cards.

Canucks get a win, maybe something to build on?

NFL playoff picture beginning to take shape tho' final positions still unsettled,a few divisions will be decided next week in head to head matchups.

I was amazed at how the Cowboys demolished Indy.

Seahawks looking very very good, handling Zona tonight.

11 Wins 4 Losses makes them a joke team? Best season they have had in a number of years.

Where have you been this season?

Seahawks turning it on in the last half of the season is amazing to watch. Even having 11 penalties didn't stop them tonight.

not a Cowboy fan myself, but I think Dez Bryant is one of the best in the biz.
I wouldn't call them clowns though, they're very good both sides of the ball.

sure, you can hate Romo, but if he gets good protection in the playoffs, this team
could be hard to beat.

I'm not a Cowboys fan either. In fact I hate "America's Team." But if Dez Bryant and Demarco Murray aren't the best at their respective positions I'm willing to say they are top 3. I expect (or hope) that Romo will be Romo in the playoffs and self destruct.

New England is my time,

but not this year they are good like always but not good enough.

You know I think if the Packers don't run away with it, it could be anyones' God help me, even Dallas I hate the Cowboys, But God almighty flukes happen.
I think everyone else is so evenly matched, it depends on the day home field advantage, who gets hot.

The Patriots it seemed to me peaked way to early, Dallas has found a groove even though I hate to say it. there as good as any one after the Packers.

I read in the Prov. this am that the Packers,Lions,Cardinals,Seahawks and Cowboys all have a shot at #1seed&home-field thru the playoffs.

to me, the Seahawks look to be the team to beat, esp. if they're at home.but,on any given day....

Glad to read that Jannik Hansen is ok, scary moments when he collapsed on the bench.

7of9...ur Patriots are still looking good, win next week at home&you get #1seed,team to beat in the AFC,imo.

A couple of years ago, people would have laughed if someone said the Lions and Cowboys would be a team to beat.

There is definitely parity in NFL now.

I cringed after the Hawks game with Sherman's quote about being the Best Defence Ever. That sort of shit gets put up in dressing rooms and I guess the Hawks proved it again last night.

I don't think Sherman gives a s..t what gets up on dressing room walls.so far he's been able to back up his boasts, but there was at least one play yesterday when he was beat
but the ball was a bit underthrown&the receiver couldn't catch it.

I see a final four of Packers-Seahawks and Patriots-Broncos and home teams winning.

I think I already posted that somewhere, pls excuse the repetition.

agree with bad boy,NFL is near parity, before this past wkend's games only 4 AFC teams, and,I think 6 or 7 NFC teams were officially eliminated.

4 of the 8 divisions to be decided on the last day, love it!

Richard Shermann marches to his own beat. nothing new there.

before him came the likes of Lester Hayes, Everson Walls, Eric Wright, Deion Sanders, Darrell Green, etc.
great athletes that thrived on the trash-talk game to get them pumped and the very few that can back it up.
but guess what, they've all been burned deep for touchdowns at crucial games in their career.

love him or hate him, he plays with gusto and that's all a fan can ask.

playoffs should be good. I'm not rooting for any particular team, just enjoying the spectacle
and the matchups to come.
