Resetting the clock back to PST

That time of the year is back upon us when we try to get an extra hour of sleep.

I have always felt that there is no need to switch back to the standard time. Yes, I do get the concept of switching to DST (daylight savings time) in spring and I think it is a great idea. My problem is with switching back in autumn.
I think we get plenty of sunlight in summer and it stays bright till quite late anyways. It is the fall and the winter seasons when we need the light to stay longer. I personally don’t mind leaving for work while it is still dark, but I would love an extra hour of brightness in the afternoon.

So, in my opinion, we should use the DST as standard time and move the clocks even further ahead in fall. I don’t think technically it makes any difference to any body. It might be a wee bit confusing in the beginning but I think we will all benefit from it. Countries who are parallel to Canada in terms of latitude have such short days that it gets depressing.

So, what do you say? Should we;

A. Atleast stop switching back to PST
B. Switch the clocks ahead in autumn instead of switching back
C. Stick to the system that we are following right now and suffer what seems like, an eternal darkness we sink into between November and January.
I vote B. Let us find a way that sun sets after atleast 6 pm in autumn and winter seasons.

You convinced me, lets do it. If it doesn't work we'll move to Arizona and never worry about it again.
WE? you mean just you and I? :)

(from what I remember, you are a female, right?)

We can sell everything, buy an RV and never look back. ;)
We can't sell EVERYTHING! I mean how are we going to post details of our fun-times-together on PERB.?

But yea, let us do that, pick a date .. and let me know.

Personally I hate daylight savings time. I like to the see the sun up early in the morning and go down earlier in the evening. Who needs twilight at 10:30 or 11:00 pm?

Each to his own I guess. At younger age, it didn't bother me too much but things changed as I grew older and had family.

Fiddling around with the clocks isn't going to give anymore sunlight. If clocks were moved ahead an hour in the fall then the sun wouldn't be up until like 9 in the morning. Who the fuck wants that?

This is the night of the dreaded nightshirt where workers start before midnight and work til 07:30. Problem is they are doing an extra hour of work for free.

We of course be like Saskatchewan and keep our time the same all year long I suppose.

I do payroll for our company and I remember one employee got very upset when I told him I can't pay him an extra hour because of time switch in fall. But then he understood when he got paid for 8 hours in spring during the switch to DST.

Imagine if it was spring and you booked 2 am!! Your session would last less than a second.
1:55: Loki gets buzzed in, a bit of kissing and ............... buzzer goes off........
3:00 - sorry honey, but your time is up!
