In quite a few reviews pooners mention that they leave a tip for an SP. I've never understood the logic behind it. Typically tipping is intended for low and unfairly paid employees making minimum wage or so (waiters, gas station attendants, etc). Nobody tips lawyers, dentists and other 'fat cats'.
In case of SPs in Vancouver, the rate for any consistently decent service is already a robbery. Most of reasonably priced SPs are involved in outright fraud (B&S, fake pics, lying about services provided) and steal your money. After all the years of pooning in Vancouver I can only name just a few SPs which were reasonably priced and provided good service at the same time. They are rare and hard to find. And by 'reasonably priced' SPs I don't mean low priced - their rate can be considered 'reasonable' only compare to the outrageously high average.
So why would you give a tip to an SP who likely makes way more money than you do?
