I find there are lots of "fake ads" out there but most of the time, they can be smelled out fairly quickly. I never just look at the picture and just "jump in". The bait and switch is common in all advertising, not just this industry. You have to be willing to read between the lines( this takes some practice) and just be willing to do some simple research. BP is notorious for this as is CL. One easy way to sniff them out is look at ads from nearby areas and even not so nearby. If you see an ad from a provider in say Calgary for dates such and such and then the same ad in Van for the exact same dates, it's obviously some scam by an agency or something else. Chances are the pics are fake and the ad is fake. Just one example here that I recently noticed on a BP ad. Also the ones that don't put a city they are in or any details whatsoever, I just skip no matter how good they may look.
As for the guy who walked out on Ms. Erica, makes no sense to me. Don't see how there can be any confusion there but maybe he had some crazy fantasy image in his head, I don't know. Anyway, it might behoove all of us as clients to realize that this isn't some hollywood fantasy world. These are real people, they are going to have some imperfections as do we. They aren't going to advertise or show off those imperfections, they will instead enhance the positives to attract our business. This is not a deception, just smart business sense. Most of the ladies here are pretty open and honest. Guys just need to read what the ladies say. Visuals are good but they aren't the end all/ be all.
