What happened to the Blue Shield? Or was the guy a real dink to work with? There is no way that a police officer in a town 20 minutes away didn't know all of the officers in the neighboring town.

The "Blue Shield" has protected police officers that are much creepier. I was just wondering why he obviously wasn't protected by the "Cops code of silence"

4 B.C. cops fired for drug use, visiting a prostitute, and other offences

Four municipal police officers from B.C. were fired in 2013 for various offences, ranging from using cocaine to visiting a prostitute.

According to a report from the Police Complaints Commission, they opened 1,091 files last year and closed 845. The office that investigates municipal police forces investigated 88 complaints, with 74 substantiated, four mediated and 207 resolved informally.

One officer in New Westminster was fired for associating with a drug trafficker and another New West officer was fired for unauthorized searches of police databases and for sharing that information with an unauthorized person.

An officer in Abbotsford was fired for lying about an accident that happened while they were off-duty.

A Vancouver Police officer was fired for unauthorized database searches, associating with criminals and visiting a prostitute.
