So, the IOC condemns any form of cheating, and comes down hard for the slightest infraction, yet, when they are doing things they come up with horsecrap like this:

"Some people decided to take some other footage and some not," International Olympic Committee spokesman Mark Adams told a news conference Saturday. "It's a very technical Olympic ceremony, very well organized. But the show itself was a fantastic one. I don't see what the problem is, to be honest."

Let me educate you, you moron. YOU ARE CHEATING!! That is not the example the Olympics is supposed to be setting!!

I gag everytime I hear the openning speech by the Olympic official as they dribble on about fair play, equality etc etc.

It is a joke, the current Olympics are so far those ideals.

I would suggest that the VAST majority of the IOC haven't the foggiest notion of what fair play is.

How many members of the Olympic committee have taken bribes? I'm sure that is NOT part of the Olympics fair play etc.

I enjoy watching the athletics but to have to listen to those speeches at the openning and closing ceremonies make me puke.

The Olympics are a multi billion dollar corporation making vast amounts of money on the backs of unpaid athletes (well except for the hockey and basketball players).

This is a far better scam than Worldcom or Environ.

I would love to be a fly on the wall of an IOC meeting as they ponder how long they can keep this scam going. Probably laughing their heads off at all of those who still think the Olympics are about amateur athletics.

$50 Billion dollars to stage a Winter games ..... how long before no country can afford to host an Olympic?

After this and knowing what I know about how Russia won the Olympics, I am giving very serious second thoughts to the integrity of the IOC.
