Alex:

What I found has worked for me is that immediately after I get that "89 seconds" warning, I go to the upper left hand portion of the page and and click on the https://perb.cc logo (blue background) and it returns you to the site homepage. Then just go back to the forum you were posting in and you should find your post there. And, I will add that I am among the least tech savy members, but it still seems to work.

Thanks Mike, in fact, when I get the message, I ignore it and click on top of the screen, on the blue forum thread I was just in, and it takes me right back there, with my new post intact. I just can`t believe that, after all this time, this (and a few other problems) hasn`t been taken care of yet, but who am I? :eyebrows:

PS, this was my first post of the afternoon:

This forum requires that you wait 90 seconds between posts. Please try again in 89 seconds.

Since obviously no one is working on the problemS that have been going on for several months now and we all still continue to get that error, I say we should all double post every time we get the error. Might make the forum look silly enough to do something about it (and too time consuming to just delete the individual posts instead of actually fixing it)

Fred, I have to say I find this pretty disappointing. When this all started my advertising had just expired and I told myself I'd just wait a week or so until it was fixed to renew it and it's been almost two months. I realize my little advertising money is nothing compared to what you make on each of your sites but that's what's kind of unreal about it. It doesn't cost much (money or time) to run a message board with volunteer moderators and no original content to create yourself since it's user created.. You make several thousands every month from your 3 websites but you can't be bothered to provide a website that works and looks good for those who pay you (escorts) and those without whom it wouldn't be worthwhile to advertise in the first place (clients).

Honestly, it's a bit insulting after I've spent most of the last 6 or so years paying. The rates were raised considerably (last year?) but you prefer to leave a bunch of errors and messed up stuff to avoid spending a couple hundred $$ to get someone who knows what they're doing fix it?! I mean, come on... I can't believe none of it is fixed months later. What's especially ironic is one of the primary reasons for this website to exist is obviously for the reviews of escorts' level of service, maybe the website's owner/administrator should be an example of professionalism and good customer service...no?

Anyway, I know this won't make one bit of a difference to Fred but I had to say it because it's just amazing that everything is all broken after all this time. He makes a shitload of money off these sites so I don't get it. Anyway...back to double posting. lol

And, for any of you that may not be enjoying our double posts, do something! Start a rally, protest the head office, double post yourselves...this isn't anarchy, this is civil disobedience (sort of)!

Hello? Hello? Fred? Anyone?

Don't like it? Don't advertise.

Let the loss of advertising dollars make the statement for you.

my .05 cents

With all due respect, chevy529, that's just silly. Even if I'm not advertising right now, I'm not claiming it's just because of this and that I'll only go back to advertising if it's fixed. That would be really ridiculous...and pretty stupid of me. Why? Because it's not like I can say I'm boycotting and taking my business elsewhere. My business already is elsewhere so unless perb is the *only* place you're paying for advertising and you know you can switch to another website that will give you the same amount of business as you get from perb, then the only person whose business is hurt is your own. So it's not worth it.

I mean, sure there are plenty websites that will take your money to let you advertise on their website. The problem is that doesn't mean you'll get any business out of it. In fact, there are only a few websites on which it's worth it to pay to advertise. And even those don't necessarily work as well for everyone. So in most cases, an sp would just be shooting herself in the foot...unless all or most advertisers were somehow on board (which is never going to happen, no matter how serious or bad the reason was - never), then it is the most futile. self damaging, ineffective way to protest.

This website brings in over $10 000 / month in advertising. Fred owns 2 more and I'm sure he makes at least double that amount from terb. Do you really think $100 less is really going to make any difference to him. He couldn't care less if he lost one, two or probably even 10 of us...What's $100/month on $30 000 ++ ?? ;)
