More than a few times, I have seen comments like this...
"why are you posting in my thread?"
or
"stay away from my thread if you can't agree with me..."
I may not have been around here long enough to fully know the rules of forum life but, when you start a thread, do you own the thread? Is the thread really 'yours'? Do you have a say as to who contributes to it, or what they add? Am I missing something? Did I not get the memo?
When I start a thread, I am looking for the community to engage in a topic I find interesting. I enjoy hearing the various opinions of the members here. I avoid threads I find disturbing, I typically avoid confrontation (unless provoked), and I am open to whatever way the thread evolves, as they tend to do.
