Im married not really dating an sp, but for all intense and purposes I am, that is how our relationship is

But I think it comes down to trust.
Do you trust and accept the other person, if not why the hell are you there.

And I think number two, relationships are hard there is good and bad, and things details to be worked out.
But the bottom line is, there has to be something there you want or need. Friendship love sex whatever, whats In this for me or for her, it has to work for both of you. if not

All I will say about me and the women I see,
is Im still seeing her, ten years in now.

We keep putting our cards on the table and there is enough there for both of us to want this to work.

What a crazy thread at this point of time.
I am a single full time father and have seen quite a few ladies over the last few years. I had a girlfriend for a while but she didn't like to come behind my kids priority wise. Needless to say that ended and here I am enjoying life and seeing sps which worked great.
Right now I see 1 and she sees me that's it. Things are really heating up and we have been pondering the idea of taking it to the next step. I am apprehensive not because of anything to do with her but I guess it is my kids. We have a fantastic relationship right now and i don't want to fuck it up. At the same time I would be proud to walk around with her on my arm and not keep her this secret. It is me that keeps paying her to keep the relationship on a business level.

That's not really a fair comparison.

Most of the men saying "C'mon honey, that was only sex...I LOVE you..." may be screwing around:
1-2 times a week (Pooner)
1-2 times a month (Pooner or really horny SO)
1-2 times a year (horny SO)
1-2 times in a life time (someone who slipped).

Comparing that to an SP that is getting laid 1-2, maybe 5 times a day, 5 days a week is just wrong.

It was mentioned maybe a month or two ago in another thread about an SP that after hooking up with a Pooner insisted that he quit Pooning as it was NOT a job for him.
That kind of makes me think of a Hillbilly insisting that his wife stay in the kitchen as she has no job to go to.
It also implies that whilst he should not be jealous, she has every right to be.

I was thinking more along the lines of her discretely booking some things in advance while you are at work, and while being completely aware of the situation, it's not thrown in your face and doesn't effect your relationship or the time you spend together as a couple in any way....a lot of people may have an out dated idea of what an sp is or "should be"....

If you are in a relationship, and working as an sp, that shouldn't give you carte blanche to disrespect your man or your relationship in the name of the almighty dollar, does it?

I am afflicted with a rather good memory.
Often when replying to a post in a thread I answer that particular post with knowledge from several other posts from various threads in mind.

The longer you stay here the more you’ll see some “battles” about SP rates.
During those debates many higher end SPs will say how sorry they feel for Micro ladies making the SP version of minimum wage and getting pounded all day by more than a handful of Pooners.
Either some people are hamming it up, or Micro girls really are having sex more than 5 times a day?

With that in mind and also higher end ladies that may only see a few gentlemen a week I just averaged it out to (to quote myself) “…an SP that is getting laid 1-2, maybe 5 times a day”

Honestly, It is really challenging to find a partner that is ok with the lifestyle, It would be like a fairytale come true, but would most likely end bittersweet, in my experience. Sometimes I wish there was a man with enough courage to date me, but he would he be the right man for me, in the long run and it could also be too emotionally draining to try to balance a relationship with work, etc. He would have to be a very confident man to be able to handle what I do, and that would be worth it to make time for someone with that quality, although I also value my independence and freedom, so as I said, would take a very special person to be able to handle dating an sp and although I have met some amazing people in my lifetime, I prefer to technically stay single and reserved for those who need me most. If I met Prince Charming who was equally interested in me I would end up no longer being an sp and that would be fine if his heart was true and sincere...so far that has not happened and I'm happy the way my life has unfolded thus far!

I think I am a very lucky girl. I found my prince charming 6 yrs ago and we are still married and very happy. I didn't become a SP until well over 5 yrs into your relationship, we both discussed it, agreed to it and support each other every day. He is always there for me after a rough day for that much needed neck massage and back rub. He always asks how my day went and is happy if I can say I had 3 "O"'s today lol. He only wishes he could enjoy his job as much as I enjoy mine We both understand each other and trust is second to none. we have a great life together and wouldn't change it for anything. I think it can work but depends on the people. We just both have the same attitude and love each other deeply. Life partners for life.
