Amazing furniture.... but OMG a sofa costs like $25,000 USD. Does anyone know where one could get furniture like it, at reasonable prices?

i would say since you're living in an area with a huge number of people familiar with the knock-off centres of the world, you should narrow your search to importers of custom-made furniture from chinese sources

you give them a picture of what you like and i'll bet they will supply exactly what you're looking for, right down to the last carpet tack, for a fraction of the price. you'll have to wait for a few weeks to a few months, but i'll bet you'll get what you want

another possibility is to buy furniture that has the basic shape of what you are looking for, but with throw-away covers. the cost of getting furniture re-covered with the fabrics of your choice runs around $2500 per piece for REALLY nice fabrics similar to those posted

No, it's not about showing off at all. That's for crass pretenders. I just appreciate art and it would give me great pleasure to see it every day, and own it, and I could care less who else sees it. Sometimes like being with a beautiful woman, you just want to behold her and admire her, and it gives you great pleasure just to be in her company.

And you know what's a tragedy? Someone on Craigslist sold a Versace sofa very similar to this one, used, for $1000 - and I decided I'd wait a day to think about it.

@Vanessa. That store looks great! I prefer the real thing. But some of the furniture can be pretty uncomfortable. You get a sore butt from sitting too long on a 200 year old sofa. LOL

Yes, I really do like this stuff. Scratch that, I LOVE this stuff. Yes, I'm a bit unusual for a heterosexual male. I just appreciate the artistry, and it does harken to another time and place. And frankly I can just imagine having hot nasty sex with a very desirable girl on a bed like this.

Inspiration furniture carries beds in the 20g's+ category. But they are contemporary style.
