How about gps.
I know it has a long history, but it only became comercially available around 2000 or so.
I remember going to the states along time ago and getting lost in L.A.
Out of date maps, trying to read a map and drive, finding a free way exit, all of them seemed to be on the right hand side but the ones I wanted were on the left.
Shit I was happy just to get the hell out of there.
And I have a class one license so its not like I don't know how to drive.
I just game back from a long road trip in the States.
I didn't ever look at a map or even a road sign. To be honest.
Not even worried about one way streets the gps knows them.
One eye one the gps telling me where to turn.
Easy peezy,
Voice command just tell it need gas or a starbucks or a Howard Johnson or whatever.
Slick as shit, I tell you.
Big big city or small town in the middle of nowhere, gps makes travel a lot easier.
