Just going by the information provided - "So if we go shopping I usually offer to pay for some retail therapy whether its clothing, stuff for her apartment or whatever we have chosen to do together on her day off. Sure sometimes its been $300 but that's just me; I am a generous guy. Sometimes its a few things that cost < $100. Its never a hard and set rule about paying for social time but I do offer gifts even though she will pull out her cash to pay. We enjoy each other's company."Lot's of times with only money spent on a latte.
As usual you make a lot of assumptions usually on the negative side.
Maybe it's all fine like you say, but try an experiment where you buy her NOTHING for the next six social outings and see if anything changes. She might still be fine with things. If you're a loyal customer, it's just good marketing, but are you willing to gamble?
