There is no one answer to this type of question.
Of course I respect the lady's right to charge for her time and have no problem with the lady's posititon with respect to the OP's post.
Charging for social time is up to the lady. If she likes you enough to want to spend time "out side the office" with you maybe she won't charge but to assume she won't, is just plain rude.
I knew an SP many years ago who was one of my ATF's. We were about the same age and just connected. She had told me before, she didn't date as it was too complicated for her and most of her spare time was taken up by her 2 teenage daughters. Anyway one day as I'm getting dressed she asked what I'm up to tonight. I told her my daughter was with her Mother so I was going to eat then maybe hit a bar to listen to some jazz. She says, "Sounds like fun. My kids are with their Dad tonight, can I come?" She even made it clear we'd go "Dutch". Of course I paid for her dinner and drinks but we had a real nice evening and I didn't even expect sex after (although she insisted and who am I to argue with a lady
) After that we would occasionally go out casully or have lunch but always at her suggestion.
My point is, sure sometimes the stars align and we meet an SP who we get along well with and she is lonely or doesn't get out much so you get the chance to have social time "off the clock" but that should always be at the ladies urging and never assume it is free unless she says it is.
