My ex-wife knew her and she was dating a friend of mine for a while. We socilaized a few times and ran into her and her at parties. When she had had a few drinks especially, she was a crude boorish twit. One time I saw her almost get punched out by this other woman after some drunken diatribe about immigrants. Everyone was in shock and just stood there not believeing what they heard. If it not for the fact she worked for the CBC, she would have been fired but instead they soon "reassigned" her. Soon after she left town with (can't remember his name, big hot shot Crown Attorney) after breaking up his family but left him a few years later.
