What is with the driver fees?

I was wondering if anyone else ran into this? Carman Fox and others have a drivers fee yet almost all the grils drive themself. Not sure why there is no fee downtown when the Den is in Burnaby and most of the ladies live out of the downtown area. Is it just another opportunity to take dollars from the clients. Or am I out of line here.

Yes you are out of line lol. It isn't so much a driver fee as an outcall fee. It covers time lost by an sp that could be visited incall by her taking the time to come to you. It is also common in other kinds of services, to have a travel time fee to the basic rate.

This is in line with other "professionals". When I visit a client's office, the client is billed for my traveling time at 1/2 of my charge out rate.

I bill a full hour for travel to a clients site, more if I have to cross a bridge, and it is significantly more than $50. It is the cost of doing business; Insurance, parking, lease, wear and tear, plus my time. I think $50 is acceptable.

Pt seems to get it here. Just a question: was the OP suggesting that an incall and an outcall should have the same donation? In other words, no consideration for travelling time, or convenience of the lady coming to you (ie. you get to stay in your warm cozy home/bed while she gets dressed and ready to go out in the rain/cold/etc to deliver herself to you?)...

Pay a driver, or if they drive themselves, time/gas/parking, plus more gap in their schedule before another apt is possible considering return travel... $50 more than reasonable!
My clients pay more than that for me to travel to them, and I don't bill $250+/hr

Don't want to pay it, spend your time traveling to them.

I think the OP is asking more for info specific to the Den.

Ie. Pooner and Sp live a block away from each other downtown.
For her to travel 5 minutes a fee is charged, however for both to drive to the Den itself is no fee.
When it would have for this case, been easier for the SP to go to his place over the Den.

But yeah, other outcalls, asking her to leave her incall for a 1-hour session, will probably end up being 1:45-2:00 hours of her time now.

I am a hobbyist and also think a drivers fee is more than fair if you want the sp coming to see you. Regardless of where you live, downtown or otherwise. If you can afford for her time you can afford to pay for her gas/taxi/driver fee.

And if you think it through a little more, when you offer her some wine or other refreshments. Then obviously if she has half a brain she will probably say no or else she is risking a DUI
if she is driving.

So quit being such a cheap bastard ... the cost is the cost. If you cant afford it, find a cheaper form of entertainment.
