Can never figure it out but i see people clicking away on their blackberry all the time. I heard it's good for emails but i dont have many emails to write. Wondering why it's so popular?
Don't ask me, I just mothballed my Blackberry for an Android. I miss Brickbreaker though!
I read an article a few months back talking about that. Blackberries are huge with teenage girls, so much so that it is considered one of their strongest markets. BBM is the key. Girls love to text and they love the delivery/read notifications.I am also surprised how many Blackberry's I see out there, especially in the hands of kids. I used a Curve for several years for work switching to a Torch (9800) earlier this year and can honestly say the Torch is the worst phone I've ever owned.
One girl told me the touchpad doesn't work well if you have long nails.I read an article a few months back talking about that. Really improves their txt while driving too. WAY less spelling errors.another reason these girls love the BB is due to its physical keyboard. Many are pros are texting from within their pocket through touch alone.
And we have a winner! Most people have no idea how easy it is to hack an iPhone, or Android phone, but a BlackBerry is about as secure as you can hope for. I have the maximum level of encryption on my BB, as well as an auto-lock that requires the password after being idle for just five minutes. It's amazing how much info people have on their phones, and don't realize how vulnerable they could be if the wrong people got ahold of it (and that includes cops as well).I can't believe nobody has mentioned the ONE true thing that separates Crackberries from all others!
SECURITY!
