Hilarious seeing A. Silva's disgusting brown foot hit Belfort's chin! Classic KO!

I imagine Hubba had tears come down seeing his beloved Belfort getting his butt kicked...LIVE! :p

I'm just curious... is it really permissible in this game to still continue hitting someone who's already down?

I'm just trying to understand as I obviously don't know the rules of the game.

It's funny how Segal is talking like the kick was some mystical, secret move that he invented. It was a front kick. You learn that in Tae Kwon Do, Karate, etc, etc, etc... It's nothing new.

you must continue fighting until the referee stops the fight. of course the fight continues when one or both oponents are on the ground

side note, i would say seagal is playing the hollywood angle a little bit. there is no way in the world that a. silva didn't know how to throw a front kick, it is simply not concievable

That kind of kind I had already used a couple of decades ago...nothing new...his oponent should had known that kick was coming as the fighters can and will always show you which leg is kicking by the movement of the shoulders....., the shoulders of your oponents always show that.

Or a front kick in Tae Kwon Do, Karate, etc...
well if you really want to split hairs, since karate is japanese, it would be called 'mae geri'. in korean (tae kwon do) it would be 'ap' ch'aki'

actually, belfort did see it coming, but way too late. if you look at the footage again, you will see him lifting his right foot off the ground to start the defensive leg block, but silva's kick was way ahead of his defense and clocked belfort in the face before his foot was much more than about a foot off the ground. silva hit belfort's face slightly off-centre in order to get the sideways snap of the head required to put belfort's lights out

I got it. Silva didn't probably realize that he threw that winning kick then that's why he felt the need to follow-up with a few more punches.

let me repeat, you MUST continue fighting until the referee stops the fight. if you stop fighting before then, you are signifying that you are allowing your opponent to regain his equilibrium and continue fighting

silva realized. silva realizes everything
