I've been looking over some SP ads (for research for this poll only! lol) and have decided I'm very confused about how some pics get selected for inclusion in an ad. I mean, the reasons some pics are included is very obvious, but I'm wondering why certain facial expression seems to be popular. At any rate, since I don't want to skew the poll, here is the question and the options.

The wording of an ad can often say quite a bit about a particular SP. You have generic micro spam, copy-and-paste chunks that may be from a 'handler', and occasionally, a well-written paragraph by the lady herself. I find that if a lady seems to be well-spoken in writing (online, posts, etc), then the chance of her being pleasant in real life is somewhat higher. Though of course, tasteful photos of the lovely lady helps to seal the deal.
Very true, although if she posts pics of a pouty frowning face, it makes me wonder whether she really wrote the pleasant words.
For myself, the pics are what catch my eye but the ad is a total package. When it comes to just pics, I prefer to see a lady smiling and looking confident and sexy. I think the most important thing for the ladies is to update their pics at fairly regular intervals and to mix it up between professional and candid ones so we can see as many sides (and angles) as possible

I hear you on that, especially the smiling confident sexy pic comment. Why would I want to meet someone who looks like she's about to throw a frying pan at me because I went to see an SP? Holly is a great case in point. She used to post a lot of "serious" pictures and back when I was active, I considered visiting her but decided not to partly because she just looked too harsh. Then she started posting those pics she uses now with her great big smile and I swear, if I was still active, I'd see her based on a head shot alone. Someone with that inviting a smile just has to be fun to be with.
I'm always considering showing my face in my pictures, but what stops me is I don't want to be famous like that, lol. Most women that don't show their face, its because of family, or privacy issues. I don't tell every single person that I meet that I'm an escort. I do tell people erotic massage though, so maybe one day, lol.
I know my banner has an unblurred pic, but I'm upside down, and not a front face shot, so I figure that nobody would recognize me from that.

There are a few SPs who post sort of casual pictures of them smiling. These I find are rather cute- they're not nude or decked out in lingerie, just jeans or everyday clothing. It makes the lady seem much more approachable and friendly. Smiles are always great, particularly on a lovely lady.
Harmony, I can completely understand why you would not want to post a face picture. There are potential problems that go way beyond family issues that make it very smart to not post one. My comments were directed more at the choice of face pics if an SP chooses to post face pics. If a lady doesn't want to post a face pic, that's fine but if she's going to post one, smile! Just sayin ...

What I find about some women, is it is very easy to change your look, short hair, long hair, make-up no make-up, then clothing and lighting makes a differnce in pictures.... Maybe it's me, but I am thinking I would bump into Holly, and unless she had orange hair, I may not even notice that it is Holly...
