Well DUH....the American housing market was the death of itself " hey honey....we bought the house for 300 grand with 5% down and have paid jack shit on it....the house is now worth 500 grand on paper...lets borrow a shitload of money against it and by stuff like matching jet skis and a large truck that we dont need since we are so RICH on paper"62 million mortgages that can miss multiple payments or simply cease being paid and they can't easily be foreclosed on. lol, Only in the USA. It's going to take years of litigation just to determine who is the mortgage holder and how they can acquire the right to foreclose on the house.
Not the time to own equity shares in a financial institution that holds American mortgages.

The housing situation in the USA is just that....people that heavily borrowed against equity that they did not have....it is running havok in the USA economy...also add in the fact a lot of home buyers bought homes they could not afford.
This will affect the stock markets for a long time as the indicators for a robust economy are reflected by this....it will take a long time for thw system to flush away the garbage....and it will be a long painfull process.
