Possible, but he is only 22 years old. You make it sound like Grabner is 26 and totally useless...Grabner couldn't break into the Canucks line up without injuries to solidify a spot in 4 years. He scored 11 points in 20 games.
Of those 5 points were scored in 2 games a hat trick near the end of the season against Anaheim (who were already out of the playoffs) and 2 assists in one game vs Edmonton and we all know what a powerful juggernaut Edmonton was this year. the 6 other points were spread through the other 18 games the kid played in. So that means he played 12 games this year and he did absolutely nothing. Like a fart in a windstorm.. On Average he had 17+ minutes and 25 shifts per game. He was given opportunities with all the Vancouver lines including the Sedins.
He will be nothing more than an asterix ***on a piece of paper in three years or just the answer to the trivia question what Austrian players have played in the NHL?
Have fun in Florida and then back home in the euro league Grabner.
How old was Burrows when he finally started scoring in the NHL? It takes more than 20 games in the NHL to prove yourself.
Grabner will stick in the NHL...if given the chance...
