Better Definitions
I just wish we could get some agreement on the language. The problem is GFE, and sometimes even PSE have become so vague that they could mean anything. Some people advertise Safe GFE which is clearer, but doesn't do anything to help you wade through the providers advertising GFE to try and figure out what they might be offering. You're left trying to discuss a potential alphabet soup of what you'd like while trying to preserve a rapidly disappearing illusion of intimacy. As has been suggested many times before, we could designate service as being the following:
Safe GFE: LFK, DFK, CBJ, DATY (YMMV), FS
GFE: DFK, BBBJ, DATY, FS
PSE: DFK, BBBJ, DATY, DATO, FS, CIM, COF, COB
Greek is extra, or advertised as included.
But the problem is with the ladies who want to advertise GFE as being "a more intimate, sensual etc. etc experience" which, lets face it, is always going to be a YMMV experience depending on who you have chemistry with. I think some women feel that if they don't advertise GFE they will lose customers and so they try and define it to suit themselves. Which is fine, but if I buy a pair of silk boxers I'm not going to be happy if I open the box and find out they're polyester. I would be happy if providers advertised a GFE or PSE YMMV -- no one should feel like they have to offer a service if Buster comes in all skeevy or even if they just feel like there's no chemistry -- although it would be nice to hear that before money changes hands. The silly thing is, there are enough guys out there looking for Safe Service and guys looking for BBBJs and PSE that if the advertising was clearer everyone would be getting what they're looking for and there would be MORE than enough customers to go around. In fact, I bet that if there were better clarity in the language there would be MORE business because everyone could relax and easily look for and get whatever it is they're looking for. I think it is highly unlikely that standard definitions would be adopted by the marketplace (sorry ladies) but a suggestion (please don't ban me) would be for the board to insist, at least here, that paid advertisers adopt the above definitions. Why dance around what it is we're doing here? Clearly state what you're offering and let us find whatever it is we're looking for. Let the flame war begin!
