This is correct, discussion threads are open to everyone to comment in. Question threads are for the health nurse alone to answer. As long as everyone follows those guidelines there will be no Wrath of the Moderators to deal with.
I assume, then, that:

1. questions in the "discussion threads" can be answered by anyone, even if directed to the Health Nurse and

2. anyone is allowed to start/create a new "discussion thread" in the "Health Information" forum.

I think that is pretty straightforward (says the guy who was banned for answering a question in the health section :thumb:)

Are you agreeing or disagreeing with my assumptions? Or neither/neutral Switzerland/agnostic?
I actually re-read your post and I agree with your assumption. I think the thread has to start off as a question thread for answers to be limited to the HN.

But if a discussion thread evolves and people start asking questions in that thread, then it becomes your usual, free for all, gongshow, typical Lenny started thread as if it was in the lounge. :p

^^ This topic is almost a year old. Why are you resurrecting it [snip]
Lenny resurrecting a thread about BBBJ? Nahhhh....
Get over it, already...
resurrecting old threads (snip)

This thread was started on April 10, 2010. By the 15th it had 65 posts.

Then it was resurrected on May 1 by Stella HARD-ON.

Thereafter it was resurrected again on July 17.

The next resurrection (#3) was on September 4.

Subsequently it was resurrected, for the fourth time, over a year later, on September 28, 2011.

No one commented on, objected or complained about any of these resurrections.

The OP left the poll open permanently & there has been the opportunity, after this topic was raised
again, for people to vote who hadn't previously, as well as newbies to become acquainted with this
subject. Moreover some erroneous remarks were worthy of a comment & the opportunity was
granted to provide clarity re Health forum issues.

So, all in all, a decent raising from the dead # 5, don't you agree?

Yes that is a correct assumption. If the threads are discussion then questions posted in them would be fair game for all. Anyone may start either type of thread on their own. I would caution that if a question is simply posted and without the Discussion/Question headers that no comments be made until one of us ascertain what the thread will be.
